There were three things Alexander hated, and that was sunlight, disrespect, and beautiful women. More particularly beautiful women that resembled his dead wife as if she were in fact his dead wife. It was no funny joke and Alexander was growing impatient with the game, but as soon as he thought to confront her, he would see her face and fall in love with her. The circle would go on for days, but now Alexander vowed to just stay away from her. Every fiber of his being wanted her, but if he got close, even for one second, Lord knows what he might do to the poor girl.
So Alexander would keep away, or at least he would try. Days would grow by, he'd stay inside away from the sun and nights would come letting him attend flashy parties to keep his appearances up, a powerful man should never fall to the back of the pack, and Alexander never did.
Suddenly it seem as if Alexander was doing everything he could to get closer to Mina again, but without him really knowing. Now he held the key to a home that he was offering to Mina's boa if he took a job with him. But Alexander only needed him for two things. Intel on the top men in town, and to get closer to Mina. How had he managed to disobey his own orders? The heart of a man in love can never be tamed.
Alas, here Alexander stood, lurking in the shadows at 9PM outside the university waiting for Mina to exit. What would he door when he saw her? Quiet, no one around, no witnesses. Alexander almost feared himself. And there she came. Books in hands as she stepped in to the cool night air. He maneuvered around the pillar to hide himself as she walked. He felt the urge to approach her, but as she met with another friend and continued down the street he heard a voice from behind him. A familiar one at that, a voice of a women, he lusted over, for love and power, and possibly his next chew toy.
Alexander turned around. "Lucy." he flashed his signature smile.
