The stair is opened up and rebuilt to form a connection to the main living space. The bedrooms have built-in desks, cabinetry, & shelves. Hidden in the joists is a new steel flush beam for structural freedom. Below the finishes are waterproofing, slab repair, insulation, & air sealing for spatial comfort and energy efficiency.
