Autumn is harvest season. Everybody helps to get the crops and clean the house.
I present to you: The slightly altered Village Green! I flattened the terrain, replaced the slide with mortia’s gorgeous Game of Skittles and added some clutter. Lenn wasn’t just there for testing-purposes. The family hasn’t bought enough food, so he collected some fruits and berries.
Belsinde taught Emma to walk. (Scenic picture is scenic.) :D
The Gambergs are next. First I had to organize some things. Ulfur Henner, who climbed a level on the social ladder, joins the Gamberg family. He brings all his wealth. (That almost felt like motherlode...) He also gave Eigil any items, which cold be sold or otherwise used in the houshold (like water buckets).
Lastly I gave him a makeover. ;)
The plan is to have Ulfur and Belsinde live here until Eigil gets married. (And this is probably in a distant future.) Belsinde is an elder, so they won’t be having any children. And there is enough room in the Gambergs’ farm. I used the wallet token controller to deposit some money for Olo. When he’s coming of age, he will continue to raise chickens, like Ulfur did before, but I will update the shack, so it’s suitable for a family of the yeomanry class. (Maybe I’ll add a butcher-shop to the lot.) Depending on Emma’s and Bertha’s aspiration, they might have a really big dowry, making them very desireable matches.
Since Ulfur will take Gamberg as a surname, the tag “henner” is discontinued for now. I have however decided, that any sim, that moves out of a existing houshold will take a new surname. Like that I can tell them apart and I won’t have the same surname over and over again in the coming generations. (I am using the famiyfunds cheat and I belive, when there are two households with the same name it doesn’t work.) E.g. Eigil is the head of the household, so is surname is Gamberg. His younger siblings (espeically Olo) might start their own households one day. That would make 3 more households all named gamberg. I would use a name similar to Gamberg. Maybe Gambrugge, Gamgee...? ;)
With 2 more sims helping with the harvest, Eigil was able to open up his shop. Finally the family can earn some money!
The family ran out of groceries and I thought, it might be a good point in time to put Normand’s skills to use. But not one sim, he encountered, was stupid enough to fall for his tricks XD
In the beginning Normand robbed everybody and now, that he could use the money, nobody is willing to be robbed.
I added a teeny tiny amount of groceries to Normand’s inventory, so nobody will starve and there is enough money left for Raisa.
<3 It finally happend the first couple in Twinhills tied the knot. This is the best kind of wedding: Where convenience meets love. *dreamy sigh*
It’s time for a wedding! :D
First things first: Zacharias serves the refreshments (he is the tavern owner after all) To the happy couple!
