mishi update

so... hi! i’m... back? yes? maybe? i want to be back, and i’m definitely going to be trying to get more active because i miss you guys, and i guess that right now that’s all i can really plan on.

uh... so how was my summer? good, overall. in late june i went to the doctor’s office, who informed me that i have generalized anxiety disorder, most prominent in social situations. i definitely suspected the social part, but beyond that i was just kinda like ‘...really?’ but then when i’m now able to drive without panicking about every little thing, or can buy items without freaking out about the money spent, and no longer try to avoid every little thing because i can only imagine bad things happening... sure, generalized anxiety seems to be a better term for it.

so i’m on medication now... awesomely on the first try everything seems to be going well with no ill side effects. i’m constantly amazed by how different everything is now, and how basic details of life that i assumed everyone had the same stress over are now just normal and unquestioned. so in that aspect i’m doing well. still really, really stressed about starting at the college of education in a week and a half, but i know that without my meds i’d be far worse, so...

hopefully i’ll be around more frequently now! i missed you guys!

i had a dream that for some reason i was living in residence at university again, but in the two person one room dorms. and the beautiful belstvff was my roommate and it was fucking awesome.
