What if one day Cillian was in a really good mood and decided that they were going on a picnic and they went out and ate food and then Cillian held little Todd up so he could pick the swamp apples from the tops of the trees and taught him all about the fruits but Todd was just covered in the juice from the apples so then Cillian tickled him in revenge for getting it into his hair and they just had a really nice day out and Cillian had to carry Todd home.

And then when they got back into the town they were smothered by the Noise and when Cillian and Ben put the fast asleep Todd to bed they just sort of sat there in silence because they both knew what was coming and that these moments would never last and Cillian knows Todd's probably not going to like him again tomorrow but it's okay because maybe it's easier that way but it won't be, it won't ever be easy because Todd's his son and he loves him and he wants him to have the kind of childhood he never had but he knows that can't happen and the only thing he can do is make him ready to live on his own when they have to send him away

How adorable would that be though. uwu

No but this is totally thing that would happen because Ben would be a huge Disney fan but Cillian is just like “Ben no” and puts on his grumpy face and then they’re descending and Cillian is just unimpressed by like everything and then he just hears “I can show you the world” really quietly and he’s just like “No” and Ben just keeps going and Cillians like “Ben no” “Ben I swear to God” “Ben I will turn this goddam spaceship around” but Ben just keeps on going but Cillian actually secretly loves it and Todd’s mum joins in and Cillian is just like I hate you both but then later on when things are going to shit Ben will keep seeing that moment in Cillian’s noise and
