Now hang on for a second. The wiki describing the bubble pies claims that, and I quote, “Each hold has its own recipe for the pies”. Considering we have done typical crosshatch fruit pies and pocket pies on multiple occasions, we figured there would be a hold that liked bubble cream filling with their bubble fruit.
Recipe is below the cut.
-MJ & K
1 pie crust
4 cups mixed berries (we used a mix of sliced strawberries, pitted and halved cherries, blueberries, and raspberries)
¼ cup soft butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1 block (8 oz) cream cheese
3 eggs
½ cup cream
Zest of 1 lemon
Zest of ½ orange
2T lemon juice
2 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of nutmeg
Pinch of salt
Preheat the oven to 350*F and cook the crust until just becoming golden-brown, approximately 10 minutes or by instructions. Allow the crust to cool for 10 minutes and add the 4 cups berries to the empty pie.
In a separate bowl whisk together the cream cheese, eggs, butter, and powdered sugar until blended and smooth. Add the cream, both types of zest, lemon juice, vanilla, nutmeg, and salt, and whisk again to thoroughly combine. Once the mixture is smooth, pour over the berries in the pie (there may be more liquid than will fit in the pie, make sure there a bit of room for the filling to expand while it cooks and not spill over the edge). Set the pie on a baking sheet and cook for anywhere between 45-60 minutes, or until the pie is set and an inserted toothpick is removed clean. After 15 minutes wrap the crust in foil or a crust shield and leave it there until the pie is removed from the oven.

earthbound aka using emulator save states and rapidly fleeing enemies across the edge of the screen
I don’t use save states when I emulate games (I absolutely will fuck up the saves and lose progress) and that other thing is a legitimate strategy, god damn it
