"What do you want?" You asked bitterly.
Silence. BEN just stared at you, his eyes glowing slightly in the now-dark room.
You began to grow impatient. "I said-"
"I'm sorry."
..what?
"I was going to kill you, but now.." BEN hesitated before continuing. "All I want to kill now is that piece of shit."
You laughed softly, mentally wincing say how croaky your voice sounded. "Me too," You admitted. "So bad."
It was true, you wanted to kill your shitty father, but you couldn't, not in the current state your body was in.
"Let's kill him then."
"I can't, not like this." You responded. BEN's eyes flickered over your battered body. He looked remorseful.
"I had a dad once."
"Ok?" You didn't know how to respond.
"He beat me too," BEN continued. "Every day."
You felt a twinge of pain in your chest, he was just like you.
"I... I though he would get better, that the beatings were only temporary," BEN's voice began to shake as his fists clenched.
Another twinge of pain.
Just like me...
A fiery determination filled your body and you quickly forgot your wounds.
"Woah, slow down!" BEN exclaimed as you suddenly sat up.
"You wanted to kill him, my dad, right?"
A pause. "Yes, but-"
"No buts, I'm going to kill that piece of shit with or without you." You stated. BEN watched as you half-stumbled down the attic stairs and silently entered your 'parents' room.
They were both sleeping soundly, which made your blood boil. How could they sleep at night when they had a daughter that they abused and neglected?!
You saw a red and black computer cord slither(?) across the floor. BEN was beside you, his arm extended, controlling the chord.
ZZZAAPP!
Suddenly, a there was a burst of light and a crackling noise. Your eyes widened in shock as your parents bed lit up with vengeful electricity.
BEN noticed your newfound shock. "Like it?" He asked over the crackling electricity.
You should have said "no." You should have ran. You shouldn't have grinned at the psychopathic murderer.
But then again, you wanted to be just like him, to able to kill in such a trademark way.
"Yes, BEN, I do."
BEN's smile stretched even wider at your words, and his eyes seemed to dance with psychotic mirth. Not like it bothered you, though.
The smell of burning flesh snatched you back to reality. Your parent's bed was completely burnt, colored an ugly black. You walked forward, almost zombie-like, and touched the blackened corner of the bed, hastily retracting your finger as it began to crumple into shapeless ash.
All the anger you felt faded at the realization that it was over, your abusive and neglectful parents were dead, but...
...what now?
You were once again reminded of BEN's presence as he cleared his throat. "Uh.. You can come with me if you want. Slender's been looking for another pasta anyway..."
"Sure. Thanks, BEN." You answered, as it was the only option, save for getting arrested, available.
BEN offered you his hand and you took it without hesitation. It was warm, yet cold. To you, it offered a sense of security.
Maybe, just maybe, I can be happy...
Thus began the craziest journey of your life.
