I just watched 'Plus One' starring Maya Erskine and Jack Quaid, and I am absolutely in love with these two together. So much that I decided to make a sketch of them.

his name is ben king and he was 22 before his disappearance
- his name is short for benvolio, not benjamin
- he was castor’s best friend
- while he met castor when he was in college, ben himself wasn’t a student they just happened to meet there
- he had a motorcycle
- ben had a crush on castor since they first met but never told him because it was clear castor didn’t feel the same way; and also he didn’t want to pressure castor into a relationship since castor would’ve likely went out with him out of obligation
- he’s always been a kind of person who was outwardly friendly and helpful but he kept his own struggles to himself
- he’s never seen without his aviators not even when he’s at home. he only ever seen with them off when he’s asleep
- he was largely independent for most of his life and was incredibly lonely. he wanted to reach out and help as much people as he could because he didn’t want others to struggle
- despite his compassion, he has a more darker side that many didn’t really know about; he’s incredibly loyal to the people in his life. if that includes killing someone to protect those he loves, even if it might’ve been unnecessary or his loved one didn’t want it, he’ll still do it
- ben disappeared under mysterious circumstances. is he alive? is he dead? no one knows
next is gale
his name is gale yang and he’s 22
- he’s a grad student going to the same university as robin, studying to be a nurse
- he was born and raised in a small suburban town; he made a pact with his best friend that they were both going to do great things together but sadly his friend died during their senior year. he’s be lying if he said his degree was partially because of his friend
- gale makes friends very easily, he was the kid who everyone in school liked but he wasn’t necessarily a popular kid
- going off of that, he’s a bit too trusting even with strangers
- he meets ryuji somewhere around the university and instantly wants to be his friend despite both of his friends and ryuji himself thinking that he’s way too trusting
- he had really bad self-esteem when he was a teen but now he’s gotten a better hang of his confidence so now he’s loud and proud of himself however sometimes he’s a bit prideful and self-righteous at times
- he’s always helpful and loves praise, like a big puppy
up next is felix
his name is felix wiles and he’s 21
- he’s one of gale’s friends that he made in college; felix is studying as a literature major
- he’s easily paranoid and worries a lot; everything for him needs to be perfectly in place or else he’ll flounder
- he’s also a bad liar and shows his emotions rather easily
- don’t let that fool you though, when he’s good he’s really good so there’s a reason for his confidence
- he has a prosthetic on his right leg, not because of cyborg’s disease but because of an accidently when he was younger
- he’s a bit of a jock; he was pretty good at sports when he was younger and every morning he runs a few miles to get started with the day
- he’s never met ryuji before but he feels familiar for some reason
here is lucius
his name is lucius russo and he’s 23
- he was gale’s dorm roommate before they moved out. now he’s felix’s apartment roommate
- he’s also a grad student; studying in psychology
- out of the three, he’s easily the most sensible and has to rein the other two in quite often
- he’s really nice, almost suspiciously so however it’s because he had a rough life so he tries to be a courteous can he can be
- more or less he’s begrudgingly taken the role as the mom friend
then there’s marin
her name is marin hale and she’s 28
- she works as irving’s secretary, setting up appointments and whatnot for her shop
- she’s also somewhat snarky and sarcastic but not as much as irving is; she really enjoys teasing others like an older sibling would
- she’s very chatty and talks rather loudly but she doesn’t realize it
- she’s going to a community college to be a physical therapist
- she has prosthetic legs that go up a bit past her knee
- if you need to talk to someone at the shop, go to her. irving is a bit antisocial and ryuji looks unapproachable. marin is the most approachable out of the three
and finally
this is rex and he’s 24
- whatever idea i’ll get for ace, rex is working against that
- he’s callous and vindictive, almost bitter but he shows signs that he has a soft heart underneath it all
- he’s really touchy about his past; whatever happened he really doesn’t want to talk about it
- he smokes to relieve stress
- unlike most people with eye cybernetics, he doesn’t hide them behind shades in public. let them stare
- he’s been spending about 2 years trying to find and dismantle multiple black market deals revolving around prosthetics; honestly he doesn’t feel like he’s getting anywhere but he keeps at it anyway
