It was no shocker to anyone that Mallory loved sweets. It was sort of her biggest weakness. Lately, all the raven haired girl wanted to do was eat sweets, hide in her bed, and never come outside again. However, that wasn't normal, in fact it wasn't healthy at all. Ever since that stupid assignment came out about insecurities, Mal hadn't had the best week. First, she had to fight internally to actually sing her own song in front of everyone and then she got into a real fight with Harper and Wren about Harper's performance. Harper was amazing, and she loved the sophomore, she really did, but Harper asking for more solos, saying that some of the talent was being over looked really hurt Mal, and she acted on it. She wasn't proud of it, but she still felt bad.
Thankfully, Mal knew she could count on one person not to hate her at this moment in time and that was Benjamin. They had been best friends since they were around thirteen and she wouldn't change that for anything. Sure, they acted like they hated each other 99% of the time but Mal knew that wasn't the case. Ben cared for her like a little sister, and that was enough for her. When Ben said he had ice cream, she was already on her way over to his house. Knocking on his door, she smiled when he opened the door and hugged him tightly. "Benny Boy!" She said, laughing as she stepped inside when instructed.
