Disclaimer/Author’s Notes : OKAY, did y’all see what’s MLBB feeding us? Marcel animated contents and IT IS DELICIOUS. Hear me out on Marcel y’all 🤤🤤👅 His animation be looking like an otome game though.. But anyway, I have sum fixation with him lately so.. yeah. I have researched Marcel’s lore, etc for this fic. Still, I’m sorry if there’s a slight mischaracterization.
𝑬𝒏𝒋𝒐𝒚 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒔!
The grand gallery of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang capital buzzed with refined chatter and clinking crystal.
Paintings lined the marble walls. Golden lights shimmered overhead.
And at the center of admiration stood your fiancé — Marcel Paxley of House Paxley.
Elegant as ever.
Perfect posture. Gloves pristine. His dark blue hair falling neatly across his forehead as Clemar on his side. You admired him from afar with a fond smile.
Even after all this time… he still looked like a painting himself.
“Are you going to keep staring,” Clemar suddenly chimed, his lens glinting, “or shall I capture this devoted expression for eternity?”
You blinked.
Marcel sighed softly. “Clemar… behave.”
“Oh, I am behaving,” the camera replied. “I simply enjoy documenting romance.”
You laughed quietly and walked over.
“Am I interrupting a conversation?” you teased.
“Never,” Marcel answered gently.
But before he could say more, a noble approached you with a bright smile.
“Ah, you must be Paxley’s beloved. May I borrow you for a moment? The guests wish to ask about the exhibition arrangements.”
You nodded politely. “Of course.”
Marcel said nothing. He simply watched. Clemar tilted slightly.
“…Oh, seems like someone didn’t like that” the camera whispered, in a teasing way.
Marcel’s grip tightened. “Silence.”
“Oh please,” Clemar continued dramatically. “I can feel it. Elevated pulse. Micro-tension in your fingers. Classic jealousy symptoms.”
“I am merely observing.”
“Mmhm. Observing your beloved getting all the attention?”
Marcel adjusted his gloves. “…Professional composure is necessary.”
Yet his eyes never left you. The way you smiled. The way you listened attentively to that man. The way others seemed drawn to your warmth so easily.
A quiet feeling stirred in his chest. Not anger. Not distrust.
Just—
The soft fear of being left outside your frame.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖𓂃.☘︎ ݁˖
When you finally returned, you noticed the faint stiffness in his posture.
You stepped close. Too close for formality. “Marcel,” you said softly, “are you alright?”
“I am,” he replied smoothly.
Clemar made a soft whirr.
“He missed you.”
Marcel closed his eyes briefly as he sighed. “Clemar.”
“What? I am a device dedicated to honesty.”
You smiled knowingly.
So instead of questioning him further…
You gently held the lapel of his coat.
Stood on your toes.
And pressed a soft kiss to his cheek.
Marcel froze.
Completely.
Clemar SHUTTERED loudly.
SNAP!
“There we go!” Clemar cheered. “FINALLY some genuine emotional exposure!”
Marcel’s face warmed faintly.
“…You did that intentionally.”
You giggled. “Maybe.”
The photo slowly developed from Clemar’s slot. A perfect candid moment: Your lips against his cheek.
Marcel stunned, eyes slightly widened.
Soft pink dusting his usually composed expression, clearly showing his weakness. You.
You took the photo carefully.
“It’s cute,” you said.
Marcel looked away slightly. “…It is improper for public display.”
“Then we’ll keep it private.”
Clemar hummed mischievously. “Ah yes. The personal collection. My favorite category.” Marcel cleared his throat. “…Must you narrate everything?”
“Absolutely.”
You slipped your hand into Marcel’s. His fingers instinctively held yours tighter.
Grounding.
Possessive, but gentle.
“…Stay near me,” he murmured quietly.
You tilted your head. “Hmm?”
“…Crowds are troublesome.”
Clemar snickered. “Translation: ‘I prefer when you are within a one-meter radius so I can admire you without interference.’”
Marcel muttered something under his breath. (Probably something about Clemar.. yet, it is his other half.)
You laughed and squeezed his hand. “I’m not going anywhere.”
A pause.
Then Marcel lifted Clemar again. “…One more photograph.”
“Of the Exhibition?” You asked.
He looked at you softly.
“…Of us.”
Clemar’s lens gleamed warmly. “Oh, I like this composition already.”
You leaned into Marcel’s side. He hesitated only a moment… Before resting his forehead gently against yours.
Soft.
Intimate.
Safe.
Snap!
Clemar hummed happily.
“Perfect exposure. No external distractions. Just two subjects… perfectly framed.”
Marcel allowed a small, rare smile.
“…Yes.”
And his thumb gently brushed over your knuckles. Then he led your hand near his lips, kissing it gently.
“As it should be.”
I’m thirsty for Mlbb fanfic without SMUT so I’m trying to cook with this fic
notes: this is my first time writing for mlbb,,, Marcel has me absolutely hooked dear lord. Do note this was written before his official release, I'm just going based on the teasers and delusion (yum) Also!! It was originally supposed to be how he acts when he has a crush on you -> how he acts at the start of the rs -> how he acts when he's fully settled in but it ended up being too long... so I'm splitting it into 3 parts m so sorry ueueue
How does he treat you at the start of the relationship?
Marcel would be a lot more reserved at the start of the relationship, not very openly romantic or dramatically affectionate. There's the usual gentlemanly gestures and polite compliments, but that's more of the manners drilled into him since young.
His affection mainly lies in his actions. Things like getting you that one snack you mentioned a long time ago that you'd like to try, or immediately going to get you an extra layer when he notices you shivering without any prompting.
He's quite protective of you as well, even if he doesn't show it outwardly. It's subtle, like positioning himself against the crowd when walking on the streets, or guiding you away from the judgemental elders in the castle. He knows that as you're dating the aide of Aamon, some... unsavory characters may target you, and he just wants to make sure that nobody he treasures gets hurt.
He likes to snap pictures of things he knows you like and make a dedicated collage for you. He might not even gift it to you, just keep it so he can look through it whenever he misses you or needs to comfort himself.
Honestly, he feels a bit emotionally distant? He avoids talking about his feelings, always managing to shift the conversation to you instead, something he's much more comfortable talking about.
To put things into perspective, he's kind of like a schoolboy that's with his first girlfriend, trying his best to please her but at the same time accidentally brushing aside his feelings and forgetting what an actual partnership is supposed to be like. He can act confident and suave all he likes, but after a few weeks of this it's quite obvious that he's prioritizing you above himself to an almost unhealthy degree.
It's not like he has low self-esteem, he definitely knows his value. But perhaps its because he's so unused to such normal love, something with zero strings attached, that he acts so out of character.
You can't really blame him, he's trying to move past his rough childhood to become a man worthy of your love. This isn't something you can really help him through. Just like how he had to accept that it was his mother's decision to leave the castle and not Melissa's fault, this is something he has to sort out by himself. Simply being there by his side and reassuring that you'll always be there for him is enough.
Clemar on the other hand, would probably be extremely curious about you (and slightly hostile, but when is he not). He'll be intrigued by Marcel finally finding a partner, but also slightly wary that you may hurt both of them. Because of that, he might observe you a little too closely.
This can make him somewhat intrusive during private moments, or a bit condescending and dismissive towards you, as if he's constantly testing whether you're worthy of Marcel's trust. Marcel, of course, isn't too delighted by this. He's trying his hardest to make you feel comfortable, so Clemar's behavior worries him more than anything.
final notes: m sorry if it wasn't fluffy enough,, i meant to make it self-indulgent and such but i suck at that,, i can only hypothesize ideas on how he acts and the problems you two would face ueueueueue,,, i'll do my best to practice hard!!
Your husband has been having a severe case of the baby fever for a long time now. It started when he saw you taking care of your baby sister. The sight of you carrying the baby in your arms while you make her laugh made him desire to have one with you.
He's been planting small hints and clues that he is very much interested in having children with you. But you were still oblivious no matter how many hints he dropped. So he decided to take matters in his own hands.
“Um? Darling, we don't have a baby.” You say as you look over the things that you and your husband had bought during your shopping spree.
Your husband smiles mischievously. “But aren't they adorable?” He holds up a onesie for a baby for your inspection. Sure, it did look cute, but it was useless if you two did not have a baby to use it for.
You sigh, knowing he wants to hear you say yes. “I suppose it is...” You grace him with a small smile which makes him beam happily. “But my point still stands, we don't have a baby to use it on.”
He smirks as he puts down the baby clothes and walks to your side, leaning to kiss your cheek. “Not yet, we don't.” He purrs in your ear, his hot breath causes you to shudder involuntarily.
Your cheeks grow flush at the implication he is giving through his suggestive words. “What?” You decide it's best to play innocent first because you really didn't want to embarrass yourself if it was not what you think.
He chuckles as he tucks a loose strand of hair into the back of your ear. “You know what I mean, my love.” He gives you a dazzling smile. “I want to make one. Right now.” He pauses. “That is if you don't mind?” He asks softly, waiting for your response.
He seemed so desperate for it that you found it adorable. You nod in agreement. “Okay.” You respond softly, giving him your consent to continue as he pleases.
He did not waste anymore time as he immediately shoves you to the couch, his impatience showing evident in his quick movements. You yelp as you are immediately pinned down, his hand pinning both of yours above your head while his free hand starts dealing with his belt.
“Darling—” You gasp only for him to interrupt. “Hush.” He whispers, silencing you by pressing a lingering kiss on your soft lips as he finally managed to get the belt off. “Be quiet and let me take care of you.”

"To drag a soul untouched by darkness into the family affairs is too great a risk, but you? You're the exception."
May contain : 4 Paxley idiots falling in love, Gusion and Mellisa being a menace to society in general (Clemar is too but he's on a whole different saga), Aamon and Marcel are emotionally constipated but in different ways. Also brief mention for some other characters. Writer tries to write gn!reader
Note : Bc damn they're all so pretty and I'm down horrendous for these 4 idiots. Basically a bunch of headcanons on how they'd all slowly fall in love, the realization and the funny little things because dear lord the Paxleys do not have much experience when it comes to romance
Aamon 💎
He first met you during one of the many Moniyan galas that Silvana held. He was there out of obligation and frankly he'd rather pass out in his private chambers than be there with all those unbearable elders and nobles.
Aamon first thought you were probably like other nobles or the likes of them. Stuck up, entitled or just plain unpleasant to interact with when Silvanna came to introduce you. That is, until the curtsies and greetings were over.
You were so... relaxed. Up-beat and so casual. Seemingly not really caring about the fact he's the duke Paxley everyone's so... afraid of.
And then learning you're not only one of Silvanna's trusted aide but also close friends with Cici?
He became more relaxed around you almost instantly. Just the tiniest bit and almost unnoticeable but it's there.
Since then whenever the empire needed to talk about something they'd send you over to house Paxley.
You know how to play the part and not piss off the elders and be polite. Saves the officials a lot of trouble when handling any issues with them.
But as soon as he asks the others to leave to talk about this matter privately? It's a mask off situation for both of you instantly
Well It was really more of a super slow process, almost like a crawl. He's unsure if he should involve you with whatever the fuck is going on with his family.
But you were very patient with him. It started small. Asking him how he's doing today when meeting him. Delivering the gifts Cici had prepared for him when she couldn't. Little things, y'know.
Then you started dropping off some sweets and snacks during your official visits, "a little something to help you get through the day." You smiled. A mix of your favorites and his.
Sometimes he'd return the gift. A box of his favorite tea would be ready for you the next time you see each other.
He's still talking somewhat formally with you most times, out of habit since it's what he's taught since he was young and it is still a formal visit from the empire for most of these occasions.
But you notice the soft gleam in his eyes, the tone in which he speaks. The way he relaxes just a little around you. He enjoyed the time spent together. He just doesn't admit it out loud.
And it's only more obvious when you started visiting just for tea and 'small talk' with him for the afternoon.
Since when did your unofficial visit become more often than the official ones the empire requested? Aamon didn't really know.
He doesn't realize it but he's showing the side of him no one gets to see. The soul that was forced to grow up too fast and take over leading the family.
He's so used to not showing any emotions if possible. They're often signs of weakness and exploitable by unsavory parties that are against him.
But you slowly seep through the cracks and is getting to where his heart is
And sometimes, he would indulge in your request to sneak out and ditch work for just a bit for some adventure under the night sky.
He didn't process the fact he's falling in love, at least not until his little brother and one of his only friend said it.
"You're awfully close with that officer that's working with Silvanna these days."
"You seem to like her a lot. Yoyo thinks so too! You two would make a great couple!"
He's so used to arranged marriages and courting as formalities. It didn't really register in his brain.
And he's also a tough nut to crack
But when it does crack and he realizes it
'...shit'
He starts noticing. How he would hold your hand when walking with you so the two of you wouldn't get separated
He'd listen to you for hours as you ramble about things you did with Cici or missions Silvanna had you take, the faintest smile gracing his lips.
He'd buy something he knows you'd like so he could give it as a 'thankyou present' the next time you visit under Silvanna's orders. Or during your tea parties, as you put it.
He'd always let you take care of him when he's feeling unwell, unbeknownst to the servants and guards.
Mesmerized by your astral magic, the way the tiny stars dance between your fingers, sharing the same beautiful glow in your eyes.
He's been captivated for a long time, heart already captured. He just realized it now. Blush creeping up his cheeks.
When Cici learned he finally realized it, she squealed with delight and won't stop talking about how he should confess already.
Yoyo was just as loud and happy. The two are already planning on how to make it most romantic for you as he proclaims his undying love.
He just hopes the guard doesn't hear the commotion. And that the rest of the family doesn't learn of this development anytime soon.
Cici is off daydreaming about the moment of confession, she says. Aamon's just lost in his own thoughts.
He never really thought about it. Maybe being loved isn't too bad after all, he thinks. And then comes another realization
Oh, Gusion is never gonna stop teasing him about this
Gusion 🗡️
Honestly? Dumb and dumber energy sometimes for the two of you
He met you during one of his escapades as he's rushing through the rooftops.
An astral mage from another family. Vaguely remembering your face from that one ball event Aamon attended. The one where he watched from outiside, looking in through the giant window looking into the hall.
You were currently being harassed by a bunch of incels asshats. He decided to be nice and help you out.
A few daggers here and a nice kick to some family jewels there and they're off running in the other direction.
"Having a bad night, I assume?" He smugly asks.
You laughed, remembering him as Aamon's younger and rebellious younger brother and thanked him for his timely assistance.
He'd ask you to take a walk with him as a way to repay the favor, not really knowing why.
You both bond over hating the crappy elders and pointless family traditions as you walk under the dim moonlight.
You'd meet occasionally from then on, one that becomes more frequent as time goes on.
You'd get him some snacks you find at the market during the day
And in return for the wonderful gift found you some jewelry
You two were having your nightly rendezvous when Gusion told you he'd be away for a few days to take care of something.
You suggest meeting each other again on the upcoming royal ball some old geezer from some noble family decided to have. If he can make the time, that is.
"And risk meeting the same elders that wanted me dead?"
You grin, a mischievous one. "It's a masquerade ball, dummy."
Say less
A week or two later, he's wearing a suit that's definitely not his style, too constricting and a very elaborate mask and is looking for you among the sea of people in that one giant room.
The ball is just you and him subtly pissing off the annoying royals and just having a grand time together, really. It's fun seeing them writhe under those masks as you gently poke at some sensitive topics you know they hate.
You both fail at noticing a pair of very keen and discerning eyes watching you from somewhere in the massive hall. But what's the harm?
And of course eventually one of the elders from Paxley recognize him. And off the two of you go jumping off the balcony, taking off any extra accessories that's not needed for you to parkour the fuck out of that party.
Deciding it's best you two not return to castle Aberleen, you both went to hide at your room the massive estate your family owns.
He doesn't want to impose on you too much, so he settled for the more than comfortable and big enough plush couch to crash out for the night.
The morning after is another set of chaotic shenanigans of trying to sneak him out without the servants or anyone seeing, lest this becomes a scandal. (a saga for a different story)
Gusion bid farewell by the garden, kissing the back of your hand as a playful gesture before disappearing into the woods.
Night descends into the castle as Gusion sneaks over to Aamon's study, an old habit of his.
It didn't take long before his brother noticed him. He stepped out of the shadows and plopped himself down on the big sofa.
"You seem to have taken a liking to a very talented astral mage at the ball last night."
He went silent for a moment. Then he snorts, replying back that you're just a close friend.
Aamon lists the things you two did, some during the ball and others during your nightly shenanigans. He seems to still be keeping track of his rebellious younger brother.
Gusion vehemently denies the accusations, only to be abruptly stopped.
"I may choose fear over love, but I'm not blind, Gus." A grin. Barely noticeable. Almost smug. But definitely teasing and taunting.
It replays in his head. How he'd eagerly wait for what sort of snacks you'd bring for him for that day's outing. How protective he gets over you when there's dangerous individuals around
Unconsciously he'd open up about some things he wouldn't even think about talking to others. Even talking about that vague ominous prophecy.
And whenever he'd feel like shit, you'd be there to calm him down or cheer him up or just listen to his rants.
Gusion just noticed how you blushed when he kissed your hand that morning.
oh
Oh
OH FUCK
He doesn't mind the idea of you two being together. But the baggage that is his family? He's not really sure if you're up for that.
But then again getting to see you more often is pretty nice-
He's still processing the whole thing when Aamon continued. "Perhaps we can send a letter over to arrange something for the both of you. I doubt the elders can try and find a better match for you."
Gusion's face turns even redder.
Oh he's just relishing the fact he finally has some ammunition against his little brother, isn't he? "Perhaps a traditional Moniyan wedding isn't to your taste, but we can-"
"Don't you fucking dare, Aamon-"
Melissa 🪡
Girl is a menace to society and she knows it. And is very proud too.
You're just on a different flavor of menace than she is but it's probably up there
"What's the worst thing you can do to embarrass my ex during a performance-"
Melissa already has muddles and giggles in both hands, and some needles that are definitely necessary.
You burst through the door to her tailor shop yelling about getting revenge on your scummy ex. And she's already thinking of about at least 20 different ways and the ideas keep coming in.
She was so on board with the plan that she told you this commission would be free. "Consider it a free trial." She said.
Well that incident was hilariously chaotic. But another story for another day.
Satisfied at the magnificent downfall of your ex partner, you return on a different day with a basket full of supplies for her. Some high-quality fabric and fine threads she'd surely put to good use.
That's where she learned that you're from a merchant family who are popular amongst the nobles for your variety of high quality goods. Makes sense why you'd be able to procure this stuff.
And Mellisa was more than happy to accept the gift. Tucking it away at the corner of her messy work station.
Your work has you going around border cities around Moniyan and some other regions for a few days at a time. You usually have a one week break in-between jobs. Mostly spent perusing the market for anything that fancies your taste. But lately it's been a bit different
You start to stop by more often. Not for any funny business... Yet
But more of just trying to spend time with her. Sharing stories or something funny that happened during your travels. And Melissa would recommend some places she frequents for a good meal.
She'd tell you about how the Paxleys tried to capture her again on some bullshit accusations and whatnot. Or maybe about her misadventures with the 3 idiots as she dubbed them oh so lovingly.
You'd hear about how she's been cooking with this new design of hers. Hearing how the materials you got her go so well with the overall look and whatnot.
And of course you have several more funny 'incidents' involving annoying and escaping the Paxley elders and the Archbishop's pawns who claimed her to be a heretic.
On your most recent visit, Melissa excitedly takes you inside and shows a little something sitting atop her workbench next to her sewing machine, needles and everything else.
"A little thankyou gift for the supplies!"
A doll, the same strange and cute-creepy vibe as her companion plushies, but you feel that this doll resembles you just a little bit if you squint hard enough.
You thank her for the wonderful gift. And on subsequent visits you'd take your doll with you to see her, and sometimes you'd leave it with Cuddles, Muddles and Giggles as they have their own 'tea party'.
Melissa never really thought it was love. She's so used to others around her thinking she's weird, having hostility towards her and just keeping their distance in general.
She was rambling on about you and some things you two did last week before you went out for business needs to the boys when Xavier said it.
"I might be rude to assume this, but you seem to be very affectionate with them."
Melissa blinks
"Honestly? I thought you two were dating already. Was that not the case?" Yin chimed in.
She starts yelling what made them think that. You two are just really close, that's all.
Julian went in for the kill
"Melissa, you made a doll just for her. The last time Yin asked for one you smacked him."
A pause
How many clothing pieces she made in the last month or two that's specifically for you? And she's also always so excited when she heard you were gonna stop by her shop.
If anyone made any negative comments about you, whether it's because you were close with her or some other reasons, she already has a hand on Muddles ready to throw down before you can stop her.
The way she'd be all starry-eyed when you talk about your travels and the little trinkets she'd get when you return? those stayed on the special shelves on her store and she'd clean them almost everyday.
oh
well shit
Maybe she's just scared to admit it. Without realizing it she already fell in love with you. All of you.
Xavier suggests she ask you out when you return. Something tells him you feel the same way. Julian just chuckles while Yin is full blown laughing
"Melissa and (name) sitting in a tree, K-I-S-"
"Finish that and i'll shove this needle up your ass!"
Marcel 📸
To most people he's a gentleman. So polite and graceful. Yet many would comment that he always seems distant.
He knows how to choose his words and when to say it. He's always putting on a mask, so to speak.
But you were one of the few, if not the only one so far who could catch a glimpse of the real him.
You'd visit castle Aberleen occasionally. Your family's ability to predict the future with terrifying accuracy wase something the Paxley fancied. They often ask for a reading to help with future plans.
Your parents aren't available again, so you go in their place. Not that your talent is any less than them, some would even say you already surpassed your mom and dad.
You two met when you're on one of these errands and currently making your way to see the elders and Aamon (who you know would rather be anywhere else lol)
He had an inkling that you're different. Something he can't put his finger on that just draws him to you.
You greet each other, before Clemar makes his comment, rude and dismissive. Almost hostile.
You instead got curious about him and his living camera. Asking what kind of dark magic it was.
He answers, hiding the surprise as he escorts you to the meeting hall.
The next time you two meet he was walking down the market streets, trying to find Aamon who somehow had scurried off somewhere.
You pulled a small basket full of luxuious goods and hand it over to him. "My parents wanted to apologize for not being able to go to the meeting last time. Please give it to mr. Aamon for me."
He took the basket and was about to thank you when you pulled out another, smaller box. neatly wrapped. He blinks once.
"For you! Maybe you can use it to frame your latest work."
Clemar said something about seeing what it looks like first before deciding if it's worth using. Marcel thanked you before putting away both of the gifts.
You then help divine where his cousin could be so he could go find him.
You two started meeting each other a little more often. Sometimes during festivals, another during your official visit.
Somehow the Paxleys specificaly requested you to do the divination instead of your parents recently. Not that you're complaining. Your mom and dad get to do other more pressing matters.
Clemar started playing tricks when you two were together. freezing the sugar cube you try to add to your cup. Stopping the door when you try to open it.
Heck he started freezing you instead if he's feeling extra gremlin that day.
Marcel apologizes a lot for the mischiefs of his camera partner. You tell him you don't mind. It's harmless fun anyways.
He slowly opens up. Tells you about his half-sibling Melissa. Asking you to have tea together where he'd vent about an annoying client he had a photoshoot with recently.
He would even show you his latest work that the public didn't know about yet. inviting you to go see the exhibits of his works and many other arts together.
Clemar, still the annoying little bastard he is, slowed down a little. Not a full stop, but it's been more bearable. "You're not so bad. We could use another new frame if you can make another one!"
Melissa was the first one to say it.
"You like them, don't you?"
Marcel stopped checking the films from his latest shoot.
She grins like a chesire cat. "I might be a freak but i'm not dumb. You never act like that around any other."
Clemar starts sputtering gibberish about how she just doesn't get it. Melissa smacks the camera square on the head. Marcel stayed quiet.
He thought about it on the way back to the castle.
He'd take pictures of things you like. Flowers, animals, that one cat on the market street you'd always feed on your morning walk.
You had requested to take a photo just to hang at your estate. He kept one of the results, and had it framed on his gallery as a way to 'prove the quality of his work' or so he claims.
You've been sending him small gifts. One he'd return complete with a thankyou letter.
well
fuck
He doesn't know how to process this. It just stews in his head when he walked into Aamon's study. They were talking about the next visit for the divination and whatnot when he said it so casually.
"Maybe you can ask them to stay for dinner this time."
Marcel looked at his cousin, cheeks slowly turning red.
"It was worthwhile to ask them to come instead of their parents." He can feel the smile when Aamon said that.
"Ooooh maybe we can start looking into some matching bands-"
Clemar you traitor.
Marcel turned away to hide his embarassment, hands gripping the cup he's wiping a little too hard.
"Not a word about this to Gusion or i swear i'll freeze you for eternity."
Note : thanks for reading. Lmk if you want to explore one of these idiots as you lover or s/o and I can write more in-depth headcanon list for one or all of the Paxley sibs 👌
Assassin along with a support!reader who is in the opposite team. sfw, gn!reader, slightly obsessive themes, convincing you to join them instead
✩ featuring: dyrroth, julian
It was quite scary how the enemy assassin kept glancing your way as if you're his prey. However, it only worsened when Dyrroth was carrying his team. So to roam around the map to get your job done always sent you in a panicky mess.
Now, your team has been wiped out, leaving you as the last one standing. Your mind raced with frantic thoughts as you warily turned your head at every bush you passed. You ducked inside one, pressing yourself low as a shiver ran through you at the thought that, at any moment, he would come for you—
“Boo. So this where you were hiding,” The voice came out of the blue as you felt your blood running cold. He chuckles mixed with the raspy and calm tone of his voice as your body trembles beneath him.
You cowered at the sound near your ear and tried to escape but he was just faster. His hand quickly clamped over your mouth while his other arm wrapped around your stomach, pulling you in—trapping you against him as you could feel his chest press against your back.
Dyrroth mutters lowly and it sends shivers down your spine, “Why not be my healer? That damned Duke doesn't even deserve you.” He scowls, clicking his tongue, “Such a waste of power.”
You only shook your head, trying to speak up for your jungler but it came out muffled against his palm. He notices this and removes his hand and you instantly gasp. “He’s not w-weak! You're just—”
“Strong.” He finished for you, chuckling. “Yeah, that much is obvious, isn’t it?” His grip tightened slightly as he pulled you even closer... was his head nuzzling against your neck?
The whimper you let out was weak and quiet as if you're hesitant to disagree with what he said despite knowing it's true. The recent Savage! notification was evident.
“I’ll make sure to win this little game for ya’,” He murmured, his tone mixed with confidence. “And once this is over, you can come to me, yeah? With me, you'll effortlessly play your role, and I'll carry you alll the time. You won't have to worry not a single bit.”
You did felt a streak of loses and this was one of the great offers one could give to you. You unhesitatingly opened your eyes as it landed on his. “Really…?”
The innocent sight in front of him made him feel something stir deep inside. He smiles wildly as he pulls you close, “Yeah, you're going to be my own little princess.”
You knew from the moment Julian earned the Triple Kill! notification that this match was going to be rough—it hadn’t even been five minutes!
Your role as a healer would require ten times the effort compared to other games. But what irritated you most was the way he mocked your team, especially the jungler you supported, leaving everyone dead except you. And somehow, that made you feel something.
Now, it was just the three of you—him, you, and your jungler—contesting the turtle where the other players were busy clearing their lanes.
The assassins were neck to neck as they fought. Despite your consistent healing and telling him to retreat for now, your jungler was stubborn—so prideful and insistent—that had cost him an embarrassing streak of deaths.
As you see your jungler fall, your feet scramble to get away, fearing he'd kill you this time. But he snatches you instantly by the waist. You closed your eyes, covering your face as you wished he'd just slay you immediately.
He lets out a huff of amusement, “It’s a lil’ adorable when you cower in fear.” He takes to pry one of your hands that you were using to hide your face. “It's as if you weren't watching my every move.”
His words sank in and your face flushed a deep shade of red. The sight made him chuckle. You stammered, trying to defend yourself. “I—I wasn’t! I was just keeping an eye on you—”
The grin that stretched across his face made you stop mid-sentence. He clearly wasn’t buying it...
“Keeping an eye on me, stalking me—Sure, but aren't they the same thing?” He lets out another chuckle, “But I don't bite, sweetheart. If you could just tell me you want me, then I'm all yours—”
Your heart fluttered wildly as you slapped a hand over his mouth. “Don’t just say things like that…”
“Sure,” he only chuckled, finding you quite adorable, “Anything for you.”
A/N: Not coming back just to post this 💔 guess what role I main in ml lol, oh and this might not be character + lore accurate sorry guys 💔 love your roamers y'all, they tryna keep y'all alive
Credits to the one who made the boarder! Per your request, here's your tag @cherryseascns
All your photographs are by him, this is a non-negotiable to the point that you'll have to fight him if you have a photoshoot with another photographer
Likes to photograph you when you smile or laugh, gets him going during his work or if you're not there
Do you have any bad photos? Nope.
Clemar trashtalks tf out of you if you get hurt during a patrol or mission, Marcel doesn't try to interfere bc how tf did one of the most powerful mages in the empire get hurt, but he'll bandage you up
Speaking of patrols, he never and I mean NEVERRR lets you out of his sight and always joins you, with the exceptions of his own missions
+ He follows you to your patrols and freezes enemies for you
During the first few months of you guys dating, he mostly kept his distance. Whether it's being a few steps behind you, or having a gap between the two of you, it's always there. Gradually, it did close in.
Speaking of those first few months, he also felt distant. Not like when you were friends where the feeling was like "I don't like you, please go away" Nope, this was more different. Like he was trying to see if you'd leave. Can't really blame him though.
His affection is quiet, and his love language is probably gift giving and quality time (with a sprinkle of acts of service)
Speaking of which, this dude SPOILS you, don't forget that he's a duke. And he lingers around your mansion as well lol
Not very good with emotions. If you cry, he'd literally internally panic while Clemar tries his best, you have to forgive the both of them for that. He tries his best to understand you though, so that's a plus.
Moving onto the pre-dating shit, the first one to notice was Aamon, the second one was Melissa. Aamon didn't mind it much but did always say "We could always adjust the type of wedding if you don't like the traditional Moniyan one" But Melissa? Oh, she TEASED him relentlessly for it. Gus stalked y'all for MONTHS.
Remember when I said he lingers around your mansion? Yeah well there's only three places he could be: Castle Aberleen, his studio, or your home
During his not-so-good days, he shuts himself in his studio to work. You have to drag him out just to eat.
If you like to yap a lot, he's the type to say "That's good" or "Interesting" Again, he's not good with his emotions (or words for that matter) so pardon him for that.
Uses old fashioned nicknames like "dear", "love", "darling", etc...
Respectful af, will ask permission to touch you, he doesn't want you to be uncomfortable
Perfectionist. For good and for bad.
Overall: He loves you, even if it's not evident. Please bare with him though, he's still trying his best.
NOTE: MAKIN OUT W/ HIM, UNTIL LYLIA KEEPS CALLING HIM FROM HIS PHONE.
The neon lights outside shined through the penthouse windows, streaks across the floor. You were in his arms, straddling his lap, your lips on his.
One huge arm was wrapped securely around your waist, while the other rested against your thigh, pulling you impossibly closer. His kisses were slow but hungry, like he had all the time in the world and no intention of letting go.
Beep beep!
The phone on the table vibrates as lylia's face shows up in the hologram.
“Fredrinn!” her voice chirped through the comms. “Pick up! You’re late for the—”
He didn’t even glance at it.
“Fred,” you mumbled between kisses, nudging his shoulder, “What if it’s important?”
“She’ll live,” he growled, brushing his lips along your jaw, sending shivers down your spine. “You're the only priority right now.”
You rolled your eyes, though heat spread through your cheeks.
The call buzzed again. And again.
“Fredrinn, seriously—”
With a huff, you grabbed his face between your hands, forcing him to look at you. “What if it’s a emergency? Or she found a new artifact or something blew up—?”
He sighed dramatically. “Fine. But only because you said so.”
Reluctantly, he tapped the call. Lylia’s face popped up, fuming.
“There you are! We’ve got a situation—wait, what are you two—ewww! Are you kissing?! Gross!”
You burst into laughter, and Fredrinn just smirked, "I told you it wasn’t important."

"Damn it!" You cursed to yourself as you got killed for the umpteenth time due to your shitty team.
"Sucks to be you," your friend joked as they watched you play, unable to play themselves due to the game being not their style. You two were in a call, with you sharing your screen, "They fucking left me," you exclaimed, lightly dropping the phone down on the desk, pinching the bridge of your nose.
Sighing to yourself, you continued to play. Not that you could do anything, no use crying over spilled milk, or in this case, no use bitching over shitty teammates.
■■■
"Fuck them all..." you hear yourself sighing over as the 'Victory' sign appears before your screen. Despite the hell of a teammates you gained, you all still managed to win.
Of course, with you becoming the MVP. There goes another streak for your win streak.
"Alright..." you sighed again, "I'm going to let out some steam..." you excused yourself, saying goodbye to your friend before ending the call. Your friend knew what you meant by what you said, you had a hobby of playing the violin if you ever feel like you needed to let out some emotions or to ease yourself.
These would be one of those hours where you would stand in the middle of your room and just play. No planned out tunes or any music note papers to read from, just music that came from whatever your hands decide to.
So, without even closing the game, you put your phone down and got up to reach your violin. You propped the intrument over your shoulder and hovered the bow over the strings. You took a long and deep breath before started to play.
The rhythm of your violin echoed through your room as you play. Some notes ascends slowly, some descends, and also some came in quickly, and some slowly. There were no pattern nor thinking, you played whatever your hands decides to, how which note would come next. Yet somehow, somehow, your subconscious music turned into a symphony, as if you've planned it all along instead.
You didn't even realise how long you've been playing until your phone buzzed that familiar reminder. Did you really play that long? Oh well, you shrugged it off before placing the violin back onto its stand.
Picking up your phone, you didn't realise this entire time it was still on the game, propped on the character index, specifically on your main's index, Granger.
A fellow violinist whose symphonies are bound on his kills, the summary only pulled you to him and now often use him that other characters you owned. He was also the fastest character you have to have the mastery logo, you became that touched with the mysterious man.
Scoffing to yourself for leaving your phone like that for the whole time, you closed the game and charged your phone before heading out of your room to prepare food and head to bed.
■■■
Eating your food, you thought about the music you just played before sighing to yourself. You really don't have better ways to make up your time.
Finishing up, you headed to the bathroom to have a short shower. As you bathe, you hummed to yourself the very same symphony you just did earlier. Somehow, that specific play of yours stuck around in your head.
You did wonder why. Well, that is until you heard something else.
A faint sound of a violin, it wasn't that loud, but it was there, faintly playing in your home.
You slowly yet quickly got out of the bath and wore the clothes you brought inside the bathroom before silently walking out.
You slowly crept around your house as you listen to the faint sound of the violin, did someone intruded your home just so they could use your damn violin? You hoped not of 2 damn reasons, one of which was because of intrusion.
Shaking your head to get rid of any bad thoughts, you continued to creep around your home until you eventually got the sound of the violin coming from your room.
Well, fuck, someone was probably using your violin now, huh? Cursing, you paused for a moment. As you think about it, the sound of the violin, the tune, the symphony, it almost sounded solemn, as if awaiting for death, if not the bringer.
It half-ly reminded you of your favorite man.
As you realised your thoughts, you immediately pinched and slapped yourself. You shouldn't be thinking of stuff like this in such a situation. There's a possible intruder in your home.
It was then, the music stopped. No sound came after, no thud or anything. Just silence.
You then faced the door of your room, mind a storm as you think whether to barge in the potential intruder without anything to attack nor fight with.
Getting better than your own judgement, you went in.
Turning the knob, you went in.
Only to be greeted by nothing, well, not literally by nothing.
Looking around your room, nothing much was touched. Keyword, much as you noticed hastily placed the violin was. It was placed on its side, leaning on its stand like it was gently lowered down by someone that wasn't you. The bow, meanwhile, was placed beside your phone. Your phone that was lit up before dying off a second later.
Okay, what the fuck?
■■■
"What the fuck is going on with my damn house?!" You exclaimed, more to yourself as your gaze moved back and forth from your phone and to your violin.
Someone was definitely using your instrument but was nowhere in sight just as you approached your room.
Is there a ghost in your home? That can't be.
You then lightly slapped your cheeks, no, no way there's damn ghosts. But nothing could explain what just happened that second. Who and how did your violin start playing, and, god forbid, left your phone opened?
"I'm seriously going insane because of this... I need to sleep..." Yeah, sleep. That's probably what you need at the moment after that chaos of an event.
Patting your bed a few times, you gradually let out a few sighs, thinking of any possible reasons or happenings that lead to the outcome that just occurred, but only came out with a lot more questions than answers.
In the end, you decided to just leave it at that. Nothing was stolen. Whoever did it was kind enough to place the instrument down carefully, and that's that.
Slowly closing your eyes, you noticed in the corner of your eye a silhouette. A silhouette of a man.
However, you were on the brink of unconsciousness to do anything but close your eyes.
You vaguely feel a hand press against your forehead, one that is covered by something closely resembling that of bandages.
■■■
As you awoke, your eyes immediately widened. Any ounce of sleep disappeared out of your body like a bubble as you realised the last few seconds of last nigjt before falling asleep.
Who the fuck was that?!?
Your entire inner monologue is entirely focused on what you could vaguely remember.
A silhouette of a man.
Bandaged hand touching your forehead as if pushing a strand of hair away from your face.
"Now, what the fuck..." you uttered what you thought process was.
What the actual fuck?
■■■
"Now, I gotta tell you I fucking saw and felt it!" You exclaimed to your friend who called you that time of the day.
"Are you sure it wasn't exhaustion and lack of sleep getting to you? No fucking way someone broke into your house..." your friend replied, not making any sense of your story of what had happened. "I mean, using your violin then safely putting it back before disappearing and reappearing again to caress your forehead? I'm sorry, but that doesn't make any sense... It sounded like something out of a damn story," your friend joked only for you to reply with a groan, now speculating that it might actually exhaustion getting you to hallucinate shit.
"Yeah... Now that I think about it... It might just be exhaustion..." you replied, placing a hand over the area you still vaguely feel the hand at. Your friend hummed in return, "Alright, now... I know it might be a little too early, but can we play a match? I recently got the game to try it out!" Your friend asked. You smiled in return, "Alright, let's play one match before going in our crazy days..." you said, opening the game already.
Though, you still kept a feeling about that occurrence.
■■■
"... Hey... Wasn't that...?" Your friend said, calling your name as you two paused in your games as the two of you saw and listened to your main's recall animation.
As the two of you finished the match, both of you decided to go to the custom match for your friend to try out characters and stuff.
As both of you went on this, the topic then manage to get to the recently revamped characters and their recall animations, things that older players didn't have.
It ended with both of you watching each character's recall animation before landing on your main, Granger.
That's when things took a turn as the two of you watched his recall animation. Granger's animation consisted of him playing a short tune on his instrument/weapon. You've heard of it more than many times as you main him, but one thing's for certain.
It does not sound like that. Not sound like the tunes you play every time you decided to calm yourself through your instrument
Your friend called your name again, it was then you answered back, "Yeah... I hear you... And I heard that as well... " you replied, rewatching his recall animation once again to listen to the tune. It was different every time, but every tune has that distinct tone that you always use on your own violin.
"Those aren't regular, is it?" Your friend asked, noticing your silence. You shook your head, although, your friend wouldn't be able to see it, "No... that's the tunes I do..." you said, remembering what just happened the previous night.
"What the fuck..." now, it was your friend's turn to curse, "Close the game- What the fuck!?" Your friend exclaimed as they exit the game as you did as well, closing and making sure it wasn't running in the background.
"Does this means...?" You started, earning an interruption from your friend, "That with what we saw and what you said happened to you last night?! Yeah, this ain't no fucking coincidence," your friend had said. It was a surprise how quickly they decided to accept what had happened when hours before, they excused it as hallucination from exhaustion. Your friend was quicker than you are as you still tried to grasp the sudden occurrence yet again.
"Dude, he fucking knows you..." your friend said. You could hear your friend having their hands on their mouth at the revelation. "It's just a game... Right?" You said, trying to think otherwise.
It's not anymore. It's more than just a game now...
■■■
"So... When are ya' try it out?" Your friend asked you as they elbow you on the side. It has been days since what had happened, and the two of you pretended that your didn't just realised something. Both of you still play the game, but not to the point anything would be given out. Still, you still couldn't keep to yourself how much you gush about Granger, though. To which, led you to an idea that may cause you to be called insane by anyone else but your friend.
"It's stupid... This sounds like something from a damn story..." you groaned, running your hands along your face, "Oh, like those isekai stories... How cool would that be, though," your friend replied, imagining what would happen. You, in reply, playfully punched their arm, "Not helping!" You exclaimed, earning a laugh from them.
"But, who knows! Maybe it will work, maybe it won't, what more can you lose?" Your friend said, encouraging you to go with your idea.
"I can loose my dignity, that's what," you replied grumbly, earning more tease and pushing from your friend.
But maybe, just maybe, it might work. After all, what is there for you to loose other than embarrassment?
■■■
Later that day, you decided to try it out.
Standing in the middle of your room, violin in hand, you planned out what you could possibly play for him.
Your plan, or idea, consisted of playing a tune with your violin like before, but this time, you purposely place your phone down, tilting towards you with Granger on the screen as if watching you. With it, it could either go in two ways. Either he answers back in his own way, albeit through his own music, or do nothing and throw yourself into a pit of embarrassment.
Now, staring at your phone, violin propped in your shoulder, you huffed, "Don't fuck this up now... I know you know..." you muttered, not knowing whether it could be heard by anyone.
Taking a deep breath, you then started to play the violin.
Slow yet smooth tunes started from your held instrument, like before, no note was planned, just let yourself play whatever your hands want.
As you play, you slowly started to sway along the music. Slow and steady, step-by-step as your body swayed through your own music.
Then suddenly, it happened. The reason you chose to do this idea of yours.
There it was, a secondary violinist, slow and solemn, playing and matching your own play as if it has been playing with you for so long.
Focusing your sight, you watched as the man in your screen play his own instrument, following you along with your tunes. His body swayed from side to side in a slow and beautiful manner as he played.
Meanwhile, you said nothing and replied back through your violin, playing along with a similar tune to that of what he played that night with your instrument. Awaiting, bringing, descending, you played as if dueting his own. A smile appears in your features.
■■■
"You're a good one," a voice cuts the line of silence seconds after you dropped the finishing tune of your music.
You almost dropped your violin at the sound, you forgot about the damn reason you did this.
Staring at the screen of your phone, you watched as he placed his violin down before looking directly at you.
"You're pretty good yourself," you bluntly replied as if you weren't just talking directly to a character in your screen. Granger let out a hum in return.
Another silence went between the two of you before you thought of something.
"That night... When I was about to fall asleep, I saw someone..." you started, placing your violin down and sat down in front of your phone.
"That was you was it?" You asked him, recalling the silhouette and the hand.
There was a hum that came from your phone before it ultimately shutted down. Confused, you opened your phone again, but the game was nowhere to be found, like it has closed on his own.
You were about to speak out, possibly think about what just happened, until you felt a pair of hands, just like the bandaged hand from before, place themselves in front of your eyes, covering them.
"Guess who?" A low voice spoke out right beside you.
》 Archiver's Notes: Yes, another self-aware, character breaking from device entry. Nothing's stopping me. Also, got myself back into Mobile legends, and yes, I'm a granger main. Proud to be one even before the revamp.
