Munich: The Edge of War Trailer
Munich: The Edge of War, based on the novel by Robert Harris, takes place in Autumn 1938. Hitler is about to invade Czechoslovakia and the British government is seeking a peaceful solution. “With the pressure building, Hugh Legat, British civil servant, and Paul von Hartmann, German diplomat, travel to Munich for the emergency Conference. As negotiations begin, the two old friends find themselves at the centre of a web of political subterfuge and very real danger. With the whole world watching, can war be averted and, if so, at what cost?” (Netflix)
Munich: The Edge of War stars George MacKay, Jannis Niewöhner, Jeremy Irons, Jessica Brown Findlay, August Diehl, Sandra Huller, Ulrich Matthes, Robert Bathurst, Alex Jennings, Mark Lewis Jones, and Anjli Mohindra. Christian Schwochow directs from an screenplay by Ben Power.
Munich: The Edge of War releases to select theaters on January 7, 2022, and to Netflix on January 21, 2022.
