SUPER PYRAMID RELEASES DEBUT EP
Super Pyramid has released their debut EP, Devoid. Led by Vancouver artist Ben Rowley, the space rock project is entrancing in their latest release. Ample synth and drum machines create a textural soundscape; a fusion of modern electronics, folk and vintage pop. Super Pyramid (Montreal, Quebec) "Comment If This Is Paradise!" is a collection of songs written and performed by Ben Rowley and many special guests. This was released last month, and clearly has not received the attention something so lovingly crafted deserves.
The first song I heard was "Before & After You" and I immediately thought of both Jens Lekman and Arthur Russell. Later songs recall those two artists but also the popsmithiness of Mike Adams at His Honest Weight. And finally, there is an orchestration that Brendan Eder would appreciate.
This appears to be self-released.

I haven't posted up any of my artist's pieces fer a while because she's went on to do other things. She was busy as it was, werking all the time, and finally she just got so overwhelmed that she had to drop something.
Unfortunately, that means I was left without an artist fer a while, but I've since then found another. And while she's also rly busy, she seems adamant and excited about doing art fer OS and possibly more of my werk, so her stuff will be coming in soon.
