[image attached. There is a black skirt with tiny golden sparkly dots all over it. The top is to the side, not attached yet. Off the table partially out of frame there is trash on the ground and what looks like a small bug crawling around.]

[A knock on the door. Ray doesn't wait to enter, figuring he's welcome anyways]

Helloooo, I have arrived!

[Despite his tone, he looked even more exhausted and pale than usual. He quickly stopped scratching at his arm when he came in.]

[Ben lit up when Ray came in]

Ah! Ray! Wonderful, absolutely wonderful!

[His expression shifted seeing that he was so tired]

Are you quite alright? You look absolutely exhausted. Do you need to sit down?

[The show is over, and hanging above it all, still and limp, is Ben Maxx. A simple accident that was expertly planned. A harness that wound up a bit too tight in just the wrong places. A board ever so slightly misaligned to hold a cable taut, keeping its puppet in place. He hangs there now, the light gone from his eyes and the beating gone from his heart. All before he could ever take his final bow]

[Ray enters the theater with a large plastic container full of rainbow dyed chocolate chip cookies. His outfit is a brighter red and white, allowing for the rainbow flag interior of his chosen cape]

Oh hellooooo, is my dear friend Ben around? I've come to inform him of pride month and what that means.

[A few scattered crew members point up at the ceiling, turning to each other and whispering seeing his outfit]

Ray!!!

[Ben looks down from the rafters, absolutely lighting up when he spots Ray. He’s wearing a rather colorful button down as well as eyeliner. He quickly comes down and runs to greet him]

Pride month hm? Would you like me to write gay plays or something? Oh and you look absolutely wonderful!

[A thick cloud of fog appears in the air, a man stumbling out, careening backwards and landing smack down on the ground, clutching a video camera close to him]

Ah f-fuck!

[He scrambles backward away from the fog, and looks around frantically. Oh god. Where had he ended up now?]

Has that yellow door always been there?

[Ben looked at it curiously. Approaching with caution. He knocks, it’d be rude not to]

[When Ben climbed to the rafters, he found someone who had somehow managed to get into the theater, perch themself up there, and fall asleep. They had a hood pulled over their head and a bag held close to their chest while they slept]

[He had spent a lot of time in the rafters this past week adjusting things after the show and preparing for the next production they were to put on. He moved between the rafters with little effort, suspended by. . . webs? He landed next to them, tapping them gently]

Excuse me, are you alright?
