The subjects staring out from @benashtonart's canvases always seem to be slipping through the sands of time. ⁣ ⁣ This somewhat ghastly suggestion of their fates is exactly what makes each scene so compellingly creepy.⁣ ⁣ The London-based artist achieves this effect by first digitally altering the images that he captures of his muses (and in many cases, himself) before committing them to canvas. Parkour

Parkour is an art. It is about utilizing the body’s ultimate potential to achieve unbelievable feats. It is the most inimitable sport of our time. Anybody seeking to train in Parkour must first develop an individual free running style that flows naturally with his/her own body.

Continued training in Parkour will determine one’s limits and condition the body to drive these limits beyond the threshold of what many thought possible: complete control over every voluntary muscle in the body with enough strength in these muscles to perform extraordinarily advanced plyometric movements.

The body is, in a sense, superhuman and capable of far more than we can imagine...
