Completed the grisaille layer of this portrait. Grisaille is a monochromatic interpretation of a picture with all the information (shapes, values, transition etc). This can be the finished painting, or an artist can apply glaze over the grisaille with the corresponding colours, keeping the value of the glaze in check ✅ I will be glazing over this grisaille.
