Just using my #benchhook and a #smoothingplane to take a little thickness off the centerpiece before #gluing it in the lid to the #sapele and #walnut #box . I used my #diston #dovetailsaw to #saw the #box in two, and my #smoothingplane to #trueup the mating edges. One of the best tools I ever made myself is this bench hook.  Well this is probably the 4th one I made since they doo wear out.  I know it's not much but made from 3 pieces of scrap some glue and screws and your all set.

So this is what i got done over the #woodwork weekend. I built 2 #Jigs! The 1st on the right is my meter long #BenchHook and the 2nd a crosscut sled. Learned a lot in the process! #woodisgood >

My first #Jig! Extra long #BenchHook to get some #planer work in! Do i qualify for #HandToolThursday?
