Gosh, y'all are sweet, thank you so much for all the love on my old BATIM dolls lately, it has warmed my heart to see so many people enjoying them. 💜 It's always a treat to know that I'm not the only one who loves them, I read every tag. Which reminds me, I have a little something to show you!

We have some progress on Alice! Finally sewed her a dress. It was a pattern I never tried before from deep in my stash, three pieces and no instructions, but I think it works for her. Next we gotta tackle that halo and get it attached, then I can get her hair together. I have it brushed out but not flat ironed or made into wefts yet. Super excited to see her finished soon!

What does Shawn Flynn feel about the three Bendy doll minions?

Honestly, Shawn thought they were hallucinations at first. 

No sane man goes thinking his own joke mock-up dolls are alive and have a mind of their own. That’s plain crazy. In fact, the dolls moving around and appearing where they shouldn’t be was even part of what stressed him out during the studio era, because this shouldn’t be possible at all. Shawn is a superstitious person, and nothing about living dolls is good. He only took a shine to them after getting infected by the ink, because by then he was in no state of mind to rationalise all the crazy stuff going on. Nor could he afford to care about whatever was bringing them to life to begin with. Even gave them their own little names: Pins, Stitches and Scissors.

As the Boss Searcher however, the trio is nothing special as they’re three among several other living toys under Shawn’s control, and by now he’s not really in a state where he can care that the dolls shouldn’t be alive. This is completely normal in the Cycle and he’s more concerned with defending his territory, and his toy army is excellent at both scouting and attacking. Pins, Stitches and Scissors are still the “favourite children” however, as they’re the oldest.
