“Jeez, when I opened up this thing I expected to find a power cell, real guts, or something, not this. It’s a load of junk. What even- a plush and a pocket-watch?”
“And in the owl? Just feathers! Feathers, can you believe it?! Ridiculous. How Joey got these to walk and talk is a miracle.”
“… I don’t understand it. There must be something deeper, a hidden compartment. ... Pass me the cutters, screwdrivers ain’t gonna work.”

Here’s a test animation, I’m working on making it look smoother and not as jaggedy. I think I mastered drawing Dapper’s noodle arms, haha.

Woops! Here’s a reference of Jerome and his toon counterpart Dapper!
Unshaded because I tend to overshade everything.
Jerome’s about 5′5″ tall, Dapper is 4′3″...
...I never thought about eye color before now, but settled for a dark-ish green.
