ok that was crazy good cooking on my part for the chicken fettuccine alfredo i made yesterday night

had not a whole lot yesterday (i couldn't fully judge it at the time either bc i hadn't eaten anything yet that day) but today was the real deal. i knew i did well with the chicken but i hadn't expected it would still be great a full 24 hours in the fridge later and reheated in the microwave (usually it's drier. more tough)

perfectly tender. retained the seasoning (butter, garlic, salt, black pepper, thyme) without overpowering the chicken itself. melted in my mouth practically.

now that's a solid success! i don't usually toot my horn abt cooking (i'm no chef) but i figure i should celebrate my success more often

#bene personal #the fettuccine alfredo was also really good lol obviously #i put the alfredo sauce in the pan with the chicken as it was cooking #i actually added additional milk to it. a very very small amount but enough to make the sauce a little less thick
