A Fine Warrior
Damian thoughtfully, with an ice pack pressed to the blooming bruise over his right cheek, wasn't sure why there was such a fuss. Why the administrators and nurses and principal were hovering so incessantly. Didn't they understand the warriors need to prove themselves? What it meant to be able to prove to his classmates exactly what the Blood Son was capable of. He shifted to the left. Daniel Fenton remained cordoned off by one of the security officers, a scowling receptionist, and the nurse who was pressing butterfly bandages to the split over his forehead. He was grinning too. His lips swollen.
Grandpa Clockwork ⏰
I had a thought, about the whole summoning thing.
We make Danny Eldritch, or "Just some Guy" when he gets summoned as the Ghost King, but then a stray thought happened. What if instead of Danny getting summoned, that would be anyone else from Danny's personal Council? Pandora, Clockwork, Frostbite, anyone else really (probably aside from the Observants.)
And then depending on the situation, assist and explain certain things without delving too much into Infinite Realms stuff. And they agree to hold a meeting with the Council and the King.
I can imagine them sitting by the table, with some very terrifying Ghosts, the Floating Eyeballs - and the Giant Throne at the end of the table. They're expecting a dangerous entity that overthrew Pariah Dark.
Only for Danny to tumble in, literally, in a panic because he was late. And let the people who summoned him do a double-take because the King of the Ghosts is just a dead teenager.
Like, he's wearing a very clearly oversized King outfit and coat, alongside the Crown of Fire floating on his head, the Ring of Rage as he apologizes for being late. Not that it matters, since at the moment, he's a Figure-head until he ... you know, fully dies or grows up as a Halfa.
Not that the Living in the Meeting know he's a Halfa. Because all they see is a dead - but awkward teenager - who is obviously the King, stumbling around and apologizing and wanting to be the best he can.
Danny obviously doesn't want to be mentored, cause he's already got so many teachers. But he's appreciative that they're thinking of all of that.
I think it'd be fun! Instead of horror Danny, they get a first-seating-view of Danny trying his best to be King, whilst surrounded by his very proud teachers / ghostly parents.
Hello! Here’s some new drawings I did this weekend!
