Imagine spending a cloudy day on the beach with Benedict Cumberbatch.

The weather was a lot more overcast than the weather report had predicted, but Benedict suggested that you go out nonetheless. There was no rain, the clouds weren’t dark enough to threaten that happening, and the wind was slightly gusty but nevertheless - you put on a warm jacket and headed down to the beach with a bottle of wine and some sandwiches for a day out with your love.

The beach wasn’t busy by any means, just a few stray people - mostly walking their dogs along the length of the shore - so the two of you felt completely isolated and comfortable with that. You were always lost in your own world when you were around Benedict, anyhow.

There was nothing more important than him in it, as far as you were concerned.

He opened up the bottle of wine, he poured you a glass and he looked around as the wind started to pick up a little. Still no complaints. You took a sip of your wine and Benedict did the same with his, and you found peace in your little corner of the beach with the man that you love and the sound of soft waves lapping on the shore.
