Something I'm super happy about is how a lot of Marvel - especially in the video game department - seems to be returning to their distinctive visual style from the 90s by artists like Bengus and Joe Madureira, which is the definitive Marvel art style in my book. Its exactly what I think of when I think of X-Men (my favorite Marvel series) at the very least, so I'm glad they're leaning back into it. That whole look of super-diverse character designs, lots of vibrant color, stylization, and an almost "cyberpunk anime and manga" look.
The Owlboy crew, in the Bengus style from MVC1's character portraits. Continuing the set I started some time ago. Has been nice doing these live. Might expand them with more characters moving forward.
(I do livestreams here every now and then)
