When he wasn’t being what everyone else wanted him to be, he was writing and acting. He joined an acting company two towns away from Wayland just so that no one found out about what he was doing. After high school, he disappeared from the town and left for New York City without telling anyone. He tried to make it big in local theatres and even wrote a play or two. Nothing was working in his favor and he was getting desperate. He did things for money he wasn’t proud of and then bought a ticket to Los Angeles to try his luck there.
