Benjamin drew out a 2B pencil from the deep pocket of his tweed jacket, glancing back and forth as if to make sure no one was looking before he began to sketch in his notebook. The portrait which was displayed in front of him had evoked the fleeting desire to create a piece of his own. For him every detail was significant and he would never settle for 'good enough' when drawing. Even at the slightest imperfection, it took everything he had not to erase the entire sketch and start over again.
Once he finished, he looked over the drawing with a overly critical eye. The beautiful woman who appeared to be crafted from marble stared back at him with sightless eyes, her dainty hand reaching out as if wishing to escape from the page. He sighed deeply, disliking the way the curls on her hair were so tightly drawn together and was just about to tear the paper from the page to dispose of it when he saw someone, out of the corner of his eye, looking at the sketch. "Excuse me, can I help you?"
