This reissue of Benjamin Ball's "Flash A Flashlight" is one dirty roller. Side A has the original 1983 South African Reggae synth pop charmer but I'm gonna skip straight to side B for Gerd Janson's out of this world vocal remix. It's so damn filthy it will make you want to buy a neon yellow Jeep Wrangler, head out to the ocean and shake your ass harder than a Spring breaker at Daytona Beach. I asked Livy why are people flashing flashlights in this song. "I think the reason they are flashing them so that they can read books in the dark."
