“You’re my friend, you don’t need to buy me dinner to get me to do something for you.” Benji said with a smile, as he sat down next to her. As nice as a free dinner was, he had Penny to think about, which meant he was probably going to cook again. As he began to rub Sarah’s back, he spoke up. “Bad day?” Benji noticed that usually the times that he himself needed a back rub were when he was stressed out or in pain.

After dropping Penny off at her friend’s house for a playdate, Benji decided to go run a few errands. He sent out his brother’s birthday card, went and got gas for the car, and got some groceries. On the way home however, he was craving a vanilla latte. As a result, he went to the local coffee shop. After ordering and paying, he stood and waited. However as he was waiting, he noticed a familiar face headed in his direction. “Lachlan, hey! Funny seeing you here.” Even though he was used to running into his friend since it was a small town, it was still a pleasant surprise every time it happened.
