heading to the cidery, benji had his doggy boy, bear with him in the front seat of his car. he was sitting in the driver seat and his pup was sitting in the passenger seat while he headed over to salgado cidery. he knew that it was very animal friendly and he knew that he needed to get his pupper some fresh air, and well he definitely could use some himself. he put his car in park, got out, and then put bear on his leash so that he could walk him around. he had moved around a little bit, but when he motioned around the corner, he had bumped into someone and he wasn’t really expecting it, but bear was already eyeing up the other dog that the male was with. he looked up after calming down bear and he smiled when he realized that it was ace, “oh my god! hey! how are you doing?” he asked with a huge smile showing up on his face. he was so happy to see ace since it had been a while. the younger male was always working and when he wasn’t, he was trying so hard to socialize with everyone he knew, but that was hard seeing as he was considered quite the social butterfly. @acemadd​

even though benjamin did thoroughly enjoy his job as a cashier at busy bee’s, he really did know that something needed to change. he needed something to be different because if it wasn’t, then it was going to drive the male insane and he didn’t really need that. the last thing he needed was to move in with one his family members because he couldn’t afford the finer things in life. which is why he had walked into wild flour bakery and that’s when he noticed that there was a gentleman with a name tag that had his name on it along with assistant manager written under it. he walked up to him with his resume in hand, which wasn’t terribly fantastic, but he figured it would help him a little bit. “hi there, i don’t know if you know me but my name is benjamin zygo and i was wondering if you were looking for more people around here? i am sort of looking for a second job. i have a full time job, so this would be something secondary for me and i wouldn’t need a ton of hours, but having some extra hours on the side of my main job.” he mentioned to him as he offered him a semi bright smile. he didn’t really know if this was going to go his way, but hey you couldn’t blame the guy for trying to get a second job so that he could completely afford all of his bills. @gingersnapbakes​

the day just seemed like it was dragging and he couldn’t wait until the clock struck four so that he could get out of busy bee’s florist and just enjoy his night. they had been busy during the day and things seemed to calm down a bit so that they could restock some things and get prepared for the next wave of things. after helping the customer that was at the counter, he noticed the person behind them while they walked away with their flowers and he smiled wide. “hey there, neighbor! how are you doing?” he asked him as he looked at him and beamed a bit. when izak had moved into town, he had gotten used to seeing him all of the time and it was still just as nice that he was seeing him right now. “are you finally all settled into your house? you had quite a bit of stuff in your little car there when you moved in.” he teased him.

seeing as money was tight for not only benjamin, but also for ellis, when benji had reached out to ellis to discuss if they could meet up and reconnect a little bit since they hadn’t seen one another in quite some time, benji was happy to hear that they were able to agree on the star diner. there were things there that both of them could enjoy and it wasn’t pricey at all. he had texted the other and benji walked inside of the diner. he had noticed that they hadn’t arrived yet, but benji took the opportunity to get the table so that he didn’t have to worry about not getting a booth. that was something that benjamin was very strict about, sitting at a booth over a table or even the counter. anything to not have nothing to lean back into. some time had passed and benji was playing with the silverware on the table before he noticed that ellis had walked through the door. quickly standing up, benji walked up to ellis as they approached the table and he hugged him softly. “hey! how have you been? it’s been a little bit since we have seen one another.” he mentioned before he plopped back down into his seat. @eharriman​

benji was so excited that he had his sister back in town and the first thing he did was invite her over for dinner. of course, he had ordered some takeout for them so they didn’t have to endure benji’s horrible cooking. he had the doors open with the screens closed so that bear couldn’t get out, and the windows were open as well so that he could get some fresh air going through the house. he couldn’t help but feel pride about how the fact that his moms had left him to take care of their house. the fact that he was twenty-five years old and owned a house blew his mind really. he never really knew though if his siblings had thought that he wasn’t deserving of it or were jealous that they had left it to him. hearing the door open and the way bear took off to the door to greet his sister, benji wasn’t far behind bear and he smiled wide as he wrapped his arms around his sister. “hey! how have ya been sis?!” he replied to her as let go of her eventually and then backed up a bit. “i baked dessert, but don’t worry. i got take out for dinner because i know my cooking is horrible.”

it seemed like the golf course was empty and after playing a couple of rounds with his friends, he had just found himself sitting there. his friends had left and benji just wasn’t ready to go home and go to sleep. he was wide awake because he had the day off and it had caused him to sleep in. he was thinking to himself about things that were going on and just how much he was missing his family, but he knew everyone was doing their own thing and his moms didn’t leave the house to him just to pout about it. he was sitting there and just wandering around in his mind. when he had heard a noise which was someone approaching him, benji turned towards the voice. “i’m so sorry if you need me to leave, i can.” he mentioned. he didn’t realize at first but this was andrew. the guy he had gone to school with. he couldn’t believe this. “shoot, i can leave if you need me to.” he mentioned, ready to almost lose his shit because he knew how much of an inconvenience this was. he didn’t realize that the male he was speaking to didn’t even work at the establishment. but he did realize it was a friend that he actually attended high school with, “andrew?” he asked with a query eye, “what have you been up to?”
