14th pic’s ’keep bendy safe’ is my horrible interpretation of @wizard-of-straws’s Caged Canary first chapter where Cup thinks he’d like to lock bendy up to keep him safe. I am a stupid. I did not realize this fic was dead dove until chapter 3. Cuphead was not shocked by his thoughts he was in-fact delighted by them. (Btw y’all should read this fic its so fun)
The Alice Yap:
For the longest time. I thought that the ‘old dancing partner’ Nort and Fly was alluding and building up to in their asks answers was gonna for surre be toon Alice angel. And then I built this whole backstory where bendy and Alice were in theatre and film together as a devil and angel unlikely-duo dynamic. Smth like how batim would depict them in the comics but more blatantly romantic.
AND THEN MY BENDYSTRAW BRAIN WAS BUZZIN. Bc like imagine cuphead and bendy start dating, and suddenly on their journey they stay with Alice for a while at her place and Cuphead sees alllll her old film posters with bendy. And that gets to him. BC CUPHEAD DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT ROMANCE, HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT HES DOING DATING. HE NEVER EVEN WATCHED ROMATIC STUFF HE NEVER THOUGHT HE WOULD HAVE ROMANTIC FEELINGS. So looking at all these posters he thinks… shit i might be doing this all wrong. Was I supposed to be singin’ songs to him in the mornin’? Hold his hand, dance and swoon for him??? Did HE expect me too and now thinks I don’t wanna date him because I haven’t??? OH CRUD, BENDYS BEEN PLAYING THE MALE ROLE IN ALL THESE WITH ALICE, DOES THIS MEAN HE Expects ME TO PLAY THE FEMALE ROLE FOR HIM NOW????? <— bc he’s stupid.
And yea i thought it would be really funny if he just was weirdly quiet and awkward around alice the whole time they stay with her. Like he’s hiding his panic really well but Alice also probably lowkey thinks he hates her cus of this (pic 3). Just like can u imagine cups being outta his depth being in a romantic relationship for the first time and starts actin’ reaaal dumb and inferior bc of it. I MEAN LOOK AT ALICE SHES A QUEEN (was cup supposed to be like her this whole time?).
I don’t agree with this direction of cupheads character now that i have a better understanding of his character in myth, but t was still fun. Also cus like, i feel like a bendystraw cuphead would not give two shits about dandy or feel inferior now that we know who bendy’s old dancing partner truly was.
(Most of my thoughts about this was tied to this song btw:)

The Duck Yap
For those who dont know, pics 5,6,7,8 are my versions of Huey, Dewey, Louie and Webby (and Lena) from Ducktales 2017 in MOTM. I aged them all up to be young adults. Just gonna rant bout them now:
Huey: apprentencing under Dr Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera in McDuck Labs. But also handles some of Scrooge’s business stuff when he’s busy. (Also she’s transfem bc the nostalgia got to me)
Dewey: still adventuring, travels a lot as a pilot for those adventures, therefore not home a lot. Sometimes his family joins him/has to go save his but tho (most of the time its webby who does this).
Louie: head of McDuck enterprises social media team, and kinda like Scrooges second/he follows him around all day and will typically be Scrooges stand-in if he’s busy. He would be Scrooges successor if Scrooge wasn’t lowkey probably immortal.
Webby: Full time Agent & Wresling champion. She also lives out of McDuck manor and with her fiance Lena Saberwing. (I dont like Lena’s design much, she’s supposed to be like running a full time witch business or smth)
I imagined the mythers seeking Scrooge in Duckburg for some peice of the machine but show up and find these bafoons running the mansion and business with Scrooge conveniently gone for a confidential reason. Leading to hijinks until Donald shows up to shut everything up and yell at Scrooge for technically helping Micky hide the machine by disappearing.
