I feel like the first time Hawke told Varric, out loud, that he loved him it took him a little by surprise.

Oh, y'know, Dragon Age and the fun, happy decisions one makes along the way where everyone lives and no one is sad~

The first thing I manage to finish in months and it's Varric/Hawke because a song came on that reminded me of them.

Hawke also has a habit of gently touching Varric's face. It's just what they do after pining for six or seven years.
