There were some faces he’d never forget. Four years of high school had left Dennis shouldering through bitter times by holding his head low and not even peeping a word in the hallways, unless he wanted to feel the cool metal lockers against his back. So when Dennis passed by Bennett -- oh boy. He hated that some of his friends were still close to these jocular assholes back from high school. One glimpse of his face produced an audible sigh that echoed through the stairwell of the building. Without lunch in his stomach and not even a bottle of water in hand, Dennis was already feeling irritable, and as soon as he perceived his high school bully to be gone he turned around and growled: “I hate seeing you around.” But to his horror, he realized Bennett was still there, and he bit his lip as he froze right there in the stairwell. @bennett-montgomery
