Caci frowned deeply her hands reaching to cup his face as she pressed a light peck to Bentley’s lips. Eyes downcasted as guilt began to eat her up she nodded weakly letting her hands fall. “I know…” She whispered softly her own voice failing her with a crack at the end. If only he knew how much she wanted for him to be able to kiss her whenever he wanted. How much she craved to wake up to him and pepper him with kisses. It broke her heart putting him in the situation he was in. “I’m sorry… I just– I can’t tell him.” She choked out tears welling at the idea of her husband finding out their secret. It wasn’t that she still loved the guy, but she couldn’t imagine what he would do. What outburst he’d have and it scared her. Scared her enough to push the man she loved into the shadows and it tore her apart. “I promise soon though okay?” Finally meeting his eyes she confessed her hands perched on his shoulders waiting for his reply before a flirty grin took over her features. “But you know you could always kiss me now… No one’s going to stop you.”
