❤️🍀🍩🎂👍🏼💕 Happy 46 #BerfDuh #Cake Number 2, 2022. 03-17-2022- Xavi and I spontaneously went to #UniversalStudios #UniversalCityWalk for an early #BirthdayDinner at #BucaDiBeppo/@bucadibeppo! 🍝🇮🇹 We worked off the #Italian goodness by walking all over #CityWalk and stopping by some of their cute shops. One of the shops was completely #Simpsons themed and I got a few Simpsonsy gifts there. When we were at the register checking out, we saw they had this gigantic #Pink frosted #Donut behemoth which apparently was cooked fresh that day at Universal Studios proper that would've made #HomerSimpson drool all over himself! 😋😋😋 Xavi and I both agreed that it would make for a fun and different kind of a "#BirthdayCake" and we bit the metaphorical yellow bullet. Or in this case, pink?!? We ended up eating it Friday morning. The donut itself kept nice and fluffy, and the frosting felt like it bordered on strawberry. It was a good ratio between cake doughiness and frosting. And tasted equally good with a tall glass of chilled #AlmondMilk. #Doh! ❤️🍀🧁🎂👍🏼💕 Happy 46 #BerfDuh #Cake Number 1, 2022. This #StPatricksDay themed #CupCake was obtained from #CrushCakesCafe/@crushcakescafe in Lovely #SantaBarbara. It was deemed #CupCakeOfTheDay. We actually bought it on Wednesday, March the 16th but Xavi and I didn't eat it until my actual #Birthday (March 17th/#StPatricksDayBirthday) morning post breakfast. The cake portion itself was delicious, albeit a tad dry due to not eating it right away... But was nothing a little chilled #AlmondMilk couldn't rectify. The #CupCakeFrosting was a bit of a surprise, a shock really! I was expecting something in the range of #Vanilla, but was treated to the curious taste of #Spearmint/#Mint and kinda had a #Toothpaste like aftertaste. It wasn't THAT terrible, I should say- it wasn't TOO overwhelming or overpowering a flavor. It was kind of a welcome mild annoyance, like when a friend shows up to your house unannounced, and you weren't prepared and still in your pajamas with bedhead and morning breath, but you're still glad to see them and secretly hope they won't stay too long, but you still end up drinking a cup of #Coffee (or #Tea) with them.
