These nudibranchs belong to the genus Berghia, and are useful to many aquarists because of their specialized diets. A common trouble aquarists have is an infestation of Aiptasia, a stinging and hardy anemone which often steals food from the organisms the owners want to thrive. Luckily enough, the Berghia nudibranch eats solely aiptasia and can be easily bought online. Of course, keeping nudibranchs doesn’t come without downsides- many fish kept by aquarists like to eat these nudibranchs and/or their eggs.
