失われた旋律 (Lost Melody) part 1.
YUI-PON’s POV
“ Dararamdararam ♪♫ dumdum ♪♫ “I hummed happily as I make my way to the club room.
“ ko-ba-ya-shi?, what are you humming?” Someone asked, I turned around and saw Zumin making her way towards me.
“I actually don’t know. It’s kind of a Shanty song that’s been on my mind lately” I replied and we both started walking towards the club room.
“Kobayashi, hennin” she teased and we giggled together.
Zumin has been my friend since the start of middle school and we both been attending the same club ever since. As i was reminiscing the good old memories. Zumin cut off the silence between us.
“ kobyashi, ano sa ~ ” Zumin spoke to get my attention.
“ eh, nani?” i replied looking at her.
“ can we go to the festival together? ” she asked while smiling at me
“ hai ~ ” i replied, her smile grew bigger.
we both entered the club room and proceeded to continue the work we left yesterday. Zumin strummed her guitar and began tuning it, I grabbed my guitar as well and sat near her.
“ yui-pon, have you decided which song should we sing at the school festival next month? ”
“hmmm, how about koko janai dokoka?”
“yeah, i think that would fit the theme”
and with that we both started practicing.
REWINDING EARLIER THIS MORNING
ZUMIN’s POV
“Dararamdararam ♪♫ dumdum ♪♫ ” I skipped my way to school with this song in my head, I wonder what this is.
I stopped as soon as I saw Kobayashi walking on the opposite side of the road, my heart began to beat fast.
Maybe I should ask her to come with me later at the festival, I thought. When I was about to walk towards her I saw Oda and Risa ran towards her, surprising kobayashi from behind.
She smiled at them gracefully, giggling a little bit. After some greetings they crossed the pedestrian lane ready to enter the school campus. My confidence dropped and i looked at my shoes while fiddling my fingers.
“ zumin? ” I looked up and saw kobayashi looking at me with a puzzling look
“Nani yatteru no?” she asked. I shook my head while smiling in response and greeted her instead. this isn’t the zumin she knows She turned her back and continued walking inside with risa and oda again.
“ are you not going inside zumin?” yelled risa while not looking at me. I quickly followed them from behind. I barely can hear what they are talking about but I can see that yui-pon is laughing histerically but in a finesse way.
I love how her eyes can tell you everything, you can see she’s really happy because her eyes curves perfectly and her cheeks that are so fluufy seems to look like its going to burst when she laughs…. and… her lips are pink and alluring.
I shook my head from the delusion I’ve been thinking.
“ what are you doing Imaizumi? You’re going to be late!”
“ah- h-hai, gomenasai sensei!”
What is going on with me?
I hurriedly made my way for my first class, just in time before our sensei entered the room. Sighing as soon as I got on my seat.
Get yourself together Imaizumi!.
The day went by completely fast and I still haven’t got the chance to ask Yui-pon to go with me tonight at the festival. I tried but there was no luck. Early this morning was a total bummer because of risa and oda, then lunch came and kobayashi left her bento so she went to the canteen and happen to meet shida along the way and ended up eating together! She’s just never alone today! All of the days, why does it have to be today?
My only hope is after class.. In the club room.
RINGGGGGGGGGGGGG
The school bell rang and I hurriedly fix my things, so i can walk with yui-pon.
ding ding dong
Imaizumi Yui, Imaizumi Yui. Please go to the teacher’s office. Imaizumi Yui, Imaizumi Yui. Please go to the teacher’s office.
WHAT?! AHHH!
I looked around and realized yuipon is nowhere to be found.
Kobayashi-san! :’(
After the meeting.
Dragging my feet out the office, I started heading towards the club room, when I heard someone humming.. “ Dararamdararam ♪♫ dumdum ♪♫ “
I quickly look who it was and there a light shone from heaven and light upon her… Kobayashi. My heart started to beat fast again, But i composed myself.
I have to do this I wispered.
“ ko-ba-ya-shi?, what are you humming?” My voice echoed and she turned around realizing it was me.
“I actually don’t know. It’s kind of a Shanty song that’s been on my mind lately” she replied tilting her head.
“Kobayashi, hennin” I teased and we giggled together. My face turned slightly into crimson red. Luckily she started walking again so she didn’t notice.
It’s like the club room is a mile away or we were just walking so slow. I gazed upon her and it seems she’s thinking something.. what could she be thinking?
“ kobyashi, ano sa ~ ” I blurted out without thinking, but she quickly reacted to that’s fine i guess.
“ eh, nani?” yui replied with a slight grin.
“ can we go to the festival together? ” I asked, using my zumin smile. wait what is zumin smile?
“ hai ~ ” she replied, and my smile grew bigger.
we both entered the club room and went to grab my guitar to tune them. Soon after she grabbed hers and some lyrics we gathered.
“ yui-pon, have you decided which song should we sing at the school festival next month? ”
“hmmm, how about koko janai dokoka?”
