A quick, slightly newer design for my OC Berkan Muteson! I’ve been trying to get his face more like it looks in my head and I think I came very close here. Can’t get away from the stylized look but that’s OK! I enjoyed working on this one. He is my favorite Stringbean boy. Thanks for looking! I am sitting at my desk, doing the clerical duties that I must do in my position and age. There is a rapping at my door and after a moment of silence a young man enters.

“Ma’am, I’m sorry for the interruption but there is an ask in your ask box.” I do not look up, but his voice is nervous, so I do not bother scaring him further by asking if it’s a pressing matter.

“Who is it from?” There is a moment of uncomfortable silence.

“Ma’am, there’s no name. Just these initials.”

His silence stretches on, and I realize that he feels he needs permission.  “Well, out with it!”

“It’s just… it just says ‘L.D.’, Ma’am.” This stops me in my tracks. LD…

I haven’t heard that name in years.
