Welcome to Beale Park! by Paula Puddephatt Via Flickr: This was taken near the entrance of Beale Park, near Pangbourne, Berks yesterday, shortly after our arrival - went there with my husband, Colin, and our nephew, Rhys. The Parrot Society UK, of which I am a member, had a stall there, and there was half-price entrance available for PS members and their families. Beale Park has previously been known at The Peacock Farm (really showing my age here!) and Child Beale Trust, and I have been there about twice or three times before, but not for years. It has developed a lot since I was last there, but still retains its main attraction, albeit as much less of a feature than it used to be - ie: peacocks wandering lose throughout the grounds. Many new attractions have been added, such as a wonderful, walk-through Australasian aviary. There are now such exotic animals as meerkats, lemurs and various parrots to be seen there, and there are excellent play areas for children. I hope to upload more of my photographs from this trip soon, so watch this space! :-)

This time it's Ghost watchers getting a fake release. I was going for an old-school horror cover design for this one.
