The Things I Find in Library Books - part 7
This was part of an exhibition about books from the Berlin library that had never been checked out. There were over 300,000 of these, so the artist, Juliane Laitzsch, put 300,000 of these pieces of paper with an art piece and the explanation into random books and I stumbled across one of them.
I sort of want to see a list of those never-checked-out books so that I can check all of them out and give them their proper attention. However, I have currently only checked out the book that gave the project it’s title, “Löwen in Holz” (”Lions in Wood”) by Helene Flöss.
