Lorre's Cat Café: Bernazsky
This elegant conspirator is a vigilante and a hero.
Bernazsky is not what he seems. His sleek black coat reveals tabby stripes in the sunlight. And all of his feline mischief serves a greater purpose. He is ever vigilant and quick to subtle sabotage.
He slips outside to track down homeless cats, or cat-deprived humans, and lead them back to our café. Bernie is our best recruiter.
He's also one of our best sentinels. He keeps a watchful eye on the café from where he sits or loafs elegantly, ready to counter any nefarious plots. When Pepi is on the mantel preparing to knock a heavy vase down onto Koening, Bernie slips over and kicks Pepi off first. When Abbott is preparing to trip a human at the top of the stairs, Bernie shoots out and sends Abbott rolling down the steps like a fluffy football.
Animal abusers, vicious dogs, and other scum around the neighborhood are continuously thwarted by Bernazsky.
The neo-Nazi meth lab that Berger was retrieved from? Bernazsky led the cops to it.
He deposites hairballs in the path of abusive customers who harass our barristas.
Bernazsky's passion is art. He lounges amongst the elegant antiques around the café, performing routine sniffs and rubbing his scent on every piece. And sometimes licks them (possibly to ensure their quality?). He favors the artistic humans, purring in their laps while they sketch and drink their lattes, or sitting on the paper they're trying to draw on. But when necessary, he won't hesitate to convert his favorite sculpture, vase or human into a weapon, and send them tumbling onto an enemy.
Bernazsky's feline besties are Moto, Slimane, Ugarte and Marius.
