I loved the first episode of Dimension 20 Mentopolis so much! The puns! The characters! The noir archetypes! The brainstuff!

Though I have to laugh a little at Brennan’s newspaper editor going on about big news on the frontpage in 24 point bold font! ‘Cause, 24 p is not a frontpage headline, that’s a inside spread b or c story (depending on which font and the overal design of the paper) on tabloid size, and I’m assuming from the setting this is a broadsheet.

Depending on design you’d be closer to the mark (depending on specific font and design) with at minimum 50 p but more likely in the 70s.

Of course there’s no reason for Brennan to know that, and I happen to be a newspaper layout designer professionally. Just that fontsizes that look big on screens, on websites or text documents, do not look the same in actual print. And newspapers are bigger than the standard a4 size people print stuff on at home. 🤪

I’m sure there are many things I won’t notice but others will because they have specific knowledge, and this just happens to be mine. 📰
