I feel like it isn’t uncommon for Rangers to visit other Rangers if they’re passing through their fief — or to just drop by for the sake of some company. Like imagine a Ranger gets positioned really far from their former master and so they begin to come by unannounced to another Ranger nearby that reminds them of them. Pritchard hears a Ranger approaching his cabin and assumes it’s Crowley, but is not surprised in the slightest when Berrigan bursts through the door already playing a tune on his gitarra, making himself at home as he tells Pritchard all about what's been happening down where he's stationed.

I think it's so interesting how Berrigan is credited as being one of the biggest helps in driving the outsiders out of Araluen. He's undoubtedly one of the most charismatic among the Rangers, if not the most.

And then we have Tennyson, whose whole thing is how persuasive he is and how people flock to his banner largely due to his silver tongue. And yet he and Berrigan are complete foils of each other. It makes me wonder if Berrigan had anything to do with convincing Araluens that Tennyson was a fraud and warning them not to follow him.

It definitely draws some fun parallels.

Berrigan hours again. Thinking about how rebelling against Morgarath really only bought him a little more time as a Ranger in the end. He's probably the only Ranger that had to give up his Oakleaf twice.
