If you think about it, Charlie and Vox are sort of parallels to each other. She may be more similar to Vox that she likes to admit, cuz she also abandoned ppl that love her once they weren't dancing exactly as she orchestrated. Her plan was always the right one. Difference being in the end she accepted the help and admitted she was wrong, whereas Vox went too far and was too selfish and greedy for his own good, and it costed him victory (and the ppl in question).

This is something ive been thinking about for so damn long that I couldnt figure out where I settled on. Idk once the relic and its lasting effects on Val's body are mostly taken care of (I think Val always had bouts of poor health just due to the extent of the damage, even if shes mostly recovered and able to live a normal life) I think v does spend some time running the afterlife and being badass cool merc Queen but I also think theres a point where they go: I think we're done. And actually leave Night City. They find somewhere a bit quieter (as quiet as the cyberpunk universe can get) i think get another pet. Johnny spends some time writing music, Val learns an instrument with his help. I think Val really learns how to do art (cuz god she sucks rn).
Idk I just think theres a breaking point where after so long they kinda go. Weve done what we can, time to pass it on. And for the both of them I think its just the first time they get to have a quiet domestic life without the raging, without gigs, without the fighting without all of it. Just the two of them, shared dinners with Kerry and Gabe, occasionally visiting the people they miss in NC. But I think they've spent their time in a blaze of glory and finally find the quiet life.
Idk its so important to me that these two people who've spent their lives fighting, being used, caught in the violent cycle of Night City, get to have a quiet ending (even if its not what would happen in Canon. Thats why I give them that with my Canon 🥹)
