Hey guys, sorry to bring this up but Aaravos is the absolute villain of this story and here's my half-assed explanation why. Looking back at the narration that revealed to be Aaravos when we first see his hands

He is the one telling the narration of the opening theme

Then later we see his face

Yeah... This struck me pretty hard because it got me remembering another character who was also the narrator of the story and revealed to be the villain

This is from one of my favorite anime Berserk 1997! The narration also follows the same format only revealing the hands and not the speaker until the very end...

IT’S VOID!!!!! He is the most powerful the evilest, frightening, diabolical character in the entire series. Void is omnipotent all powerful interdimensional demonic god who basically obliterates everyone in the end and if Aaravos is anything like him and TDP writers based his character off Void’s, oh boy we are in for a ride!!!

Voids eyes being sewn shut and his mouth being pulled open must be so significant.. did he want that the way Griffith wanted wings? what did he not want to see anymore.. is it what made him sacrifice? did he want his mouth pulled open so he couldn’t be ‘silenced’ or is that the way he died? is it the other way round? i love to think about wider berserk lore but i can’t wait for the truth of the godhand and skull knight and causality to be revealed

maybe the story of gaiseric includes lies spread by void or maybe it’s all true.. we don’t know yet. oh and gaiseric himself appeared from nowhere to build an empire much the same way as neogriff, can’t forget that
