I am so in love with The Hockey Girls (Les De L’Hoquei)!!! Ugh!!
It was so damn good! So many amazing, complex, messy female characters. And they are the focus. But one of the best parts of the show was its portrayal of female friendships and the bond that unites them. And each of them gets their moment to shine.. and they play hockey! Like who knew I needed this show in mi life..
I love all of the women, Berta, Raquel, Laila, Anna and Emma.. but my favourites by far were Lorena and Flor.. Although, they’re ALL so outstanding..
The other best part about the show? The relationship between Flor and Lorena.. it was... just... the best... I loved it grew, from friendship to love. They had time to get to know each other. I loved that Flor saw Lore’s true nature and loved all of her.. and Lore, once she fell for Flor, there was no going back.. they were meant to be and it was plain as day to see..(hey, that rhymed)
Made my little gay heart so very happy..
P.S.- season 1 is on Netflix but season 2 is very hard to find. The only way I could do it is by downloading a vpn, setting it to Spain and then watching it on the official tv website, linking it below, because more people need to watch it:
