These are two flower sculptures out of laminated paper (made in 2013). These are done freely with no molds or jigs. It is improvised using my hands to shape the curves and tape to hold them in place until the glue dries. The time it takes to make something like this is measured in days (usually weeks), not hours. Maybe when I retire, I'll do them again but for now, this technique will have to wait. Unlike wood, you can't really sand this to get a nice, clean edge. They end up being very rough and uneven. These pieces are truly a labour of love and I really don't expect anyone to buy them. I don't remember where these are (in the garbage bin probably).
