hello! I just want to ask, where did the beruyumi ship came from? I don't remember reading anything about their interactions that could be read that way but maybe I had overlooked something? Was it in the extras? Sorry, I was curious after you posted that beruyumi comic :)
hello anon! :)actually i’m not quite sure myself. (beruyumi is actually new to me??) i’m not, well, so invested into the ship that i can go into too many details.
if there’s anything I can say I know about beruyumi interacting canon is in chapter 50… bert screams and ymir reacts (it’s when she leaves Christa/Historia) and rushes to save bert before he and reiner get eaten by titans, woo.
it’s far from what could be considered a romantic advance, but then again, meanwhile: personally, i prefer to look at it the platonic sort, like a comrades sort of ship. (am i making sense, sorry?)
