They do!! Kita and Jandra don’t remember but they knew Koa and Grogu as babies bc they were part of the club of “Force-Sensitive babies whose parents do NOT want them near the Skywalker Jedi Preschool”
Koa was old enough to remember them, though. So when the girls ran away from the First Order with the Resistance, imagine their surprise when they get checked into medbay and introduce themselves to their Wookiee medic… only for said medic to immediately tackle them into a suffocating bear hug. He apologizes profusely for startling them but quickly explains his excitement. It’s quite the eventful day for Kita and Jandra since they not only reunite with their parents but also find out that they used to have playdates with the children of Mandalorian royalty.
They quickly become close friends as Koa shows them around and introduces them to his other friends in the Resistance. They’re definitely the Cool Kids :)
