(X) It’s been so long. Months upon months have passed, almost adding up to a year, but she has never forgotten him. She could never forget him. Yuna runs her finger across a ripped corner of the page, and smiles, just like he had hoped she would.
She writes a response, and hopes that he still lives where he had months ago. Hopes that he gets this letter.
(Maybe she should move back to the island.)
“You know you are always welcome here. I miss I hope you have not forgotten that. I would like to see you soon.
–Yuna”
How many days had gone by since I had heard from her? Was it even days? Maybe it was months. I couldn’t remember , I still can’t really. But I know it had been awhile. I carried on but every now and then I’d look out across the sea whenever I stood on the beach and wondered what she was up to. Even when matches would started up in Luca again, I found myself wondering if she was in the crowd. She wasn’t, maybe. But I hoped that she was. Hm? Oh... I just ... Yknow... Even as things were, she really meant a lot yknow? There’s always people like that in your life. Those folk who really matter the most. She was one of ‘em. She still is. He’s sitting in his own little hut. Not much to do on a off season, and he was quite tired from helping find wood for a bonfire the village would be having tonight. A little rest before the big show. Probably would end up showing the local kids a few moves. Speaking of the local kids, he perks up from his cross legged position on the floormat when a young boy arrives to hand him a letter. He offers his thanks and the child scurries away. Eyes widening at the name, and course fingers touching the parchment gently. A slow read to digest every word and he laughs. Quite eager to reply and send the words on their journey to her. “Sure! Haven’t been that far north in awhile , and I hear I’ve got some pretty big fans there in Bevelle. Tell your friends I’ll personally autograph anything they ask for ! Even their butts if they ask! I’ll sign their holy robes! It’s really great to hear from you. Maybe I can drop by in the next couple of weeks. “ “Oh I almost forgot. Funny fact of the day. Some people like to shake their hips and wark like chocobos to hang out with them. Sometimes it works too. Wark Wark! -Tidus “
