No matter how you take your books- brand-new hardback, worn paperback or e-reader friendly, they will educate you. All three of those featured above address important questions within society; how many of them were discussed during your sex and relationships education at school? Did you talk about consent? How to report something that made you uncomfortable or hurt you, and what happens next? Emotional abuse? Roles within a relationship? Healthy relationships at all? What about feminism? The true definition. Or gender roles and identity? Sexualities other than heterosexuality? There is so much more than the biology of reproduction involved in sex and relationships. It is wonderful that we can find so much knowledge in literature, and that it can inspire us to think more deeply about topics we might not have considered before. But isn't school supposed to do that too? With the Do Project, we are campaigning for compulsory and comprehensive Sex and Relationships education in schools, with support for the teachers who deliver it too. Join the movement as we speak in Parliament, to schools and educators, and to you. Together we will support young people and schools to look #beyondbiology in classrooms and relationships. #DoSRE #SREnow #goingbeyondbiology #brook #fpa #familyplanningassociation #durex #besexpositive #brookcharity #charity #campaign #schools #sexandrelationships #relationships #relationshipgoals #literature #books #bookstagram #onlyeveryours #askingforit #louiseoneill #thehandmaidstale #margaretattwood #paperback #hardback #ebook #newbooks #ya #youngadult (at Bow Quarter)
