You don’t know what comes over you as you sit beside Leone, what causes love and unfiltered affection to bubble to the surface, and warmth to bloom in your chest. You wonder if it’s the comfortable silence that settles between you or the way the moonlight strikes the contours of his face and bathes his hair in its gentle glow. Something must be in the air, you think. Whatever it is, it spurs your hand to move.

You bridge the gap between you to tuck Leone’s hair behind his ear, sneaking a better look at his handsome features as you do. Your eyes follow the delicate curl of his lashes and down the slope of his nose before finally taking in the shape of his cupid’s bow.

Your hand cradles his cheek as you mutter, “You’re so pretty, Leone.”

You almost miss it; the subtle way Leone starts to frown, the distant look that overtakes the soft smile that had been there only moments ago. His head shakes as it rests against the skin of your palm, and his eyes fail to meet yours as he replies, “I’m not.”

Your reply is earnest, automatic. In your eyes, it’s the truth, irrefutable and unwavering. “You are, and I’ll tell you every day until you believe me.”

Leone's gaze meets yours then, and an expression you’ve never seen before crosses his face. His lip wobbles, and you coo, dragging him closer until your nose bumps into his. “I promise.”

You seal it with a tender kiss, slotting your lips against his and curling your hand around the nape of his neck. Leone sighs into your mouth and drags you closer by the hips, his hands resting just below the hem of your shirt. When he pulls away moments later, his lips mere centimeters from yours, Leone mumbles a quiet, honest thank you, and your heart melts.

Step one: click ghe red button that you probably think is like a mic thing

step two: it actually record your keybaord so you dont have to use your mouse and all

Step three: under all the like snares and beats theres a add stuff button

Step four: click on sytrus in that add stuff menu

Step five: click on the name thing in the top right that probably says default or piano

Step six: select some instrument (good luck lol)

Step seven: combine????

Step eight: spend too long trying to figure out how to create a pattern(click the button in the bottom of the pattern things that creates it)

Step nine: click on the roll thing(its on the right, tqkes up like 50% of the window)

Step ten: congradulations on reading so far

Step 11:????? uh create i think

Step 12: i have run out of tips just uh export in mp3 when done

ok so,

I have struggled to put my thought process into words so please bear with me.

WFTTWTAF is a very well thought out album, every single detail has been well thought out.

first and foremost, I love the album, the lyrics, the aesthetic, everything. It is a very relatable album, for me at least.

if you listen to the album in order it tells a story, each song tells its own individual story, but put all together it creates one big story. I see it as Luke trying to process the last ten years and as if he doesn't have a full grasp of what happened or those memories.

Luke said in an interview that A Beautiful Dream was inspired by zenosyne, the sense of time moving faster as you get older, but I really think the base of the entire album is inspired by that.

"every song on the album speaks about being on a unique walk of life." Each song tells a story, a very emotional and deep story and it delves into the things Luke couldn't talk about. He had so much heaviness in his heart (and mind) that he either pushed it down or kept it hidden for so long, and this was his outlet, this album, this was his chance to be able to talk about those things but in a place that he feels safest and comfortable in, song writing.

Luke said in an interview that Motion touches on a time in his life where he couldn't trust the thoughts in his head because they didn't feel like his own. I mean that hits me because I know exactly what he's talking about and how he feels in regards to that, but it makes you stop and look back at everything he has been through and how he's starting to accept his past and has started to face the things he turns/ed away from.

To me the reoccurring themes of this album are zenosyne, memories, identity and growth. I think in that order too. But the way he picked each song aesthetic, the aesthetic of the album, each lyric, each tiny detail is perfect, it matches what he was trying to say and portray. To quickly touch on the aesthetic of the album I'm gonna refer back to zenosyne, because all the covers, images and I believe music videos for this album are kind of a blurry dreamlike image, which matches the album and captures it perfectly too.

The way that he used dreamy piano transmissions to make an intimate and self reflective album to then be echoed by emotional lyrics? the way the music is built up by mainly acoustics? the way he exposed himself because he knew he was in a safe space? the way he basically let us into his mind and heart for an entire 43 minutes.

I would like to see more of his solo work, not necessarily on a produced album, i think the way his brain works and they way he organises his thoughts is amazing and I am in awe of what he does, because he is truly talented in what he does and loves.
