The best holiday photos should take pride of place in your best leather look binders in order to stay protected
Keep your old magazines in leather look binders and they will last a lifetime
I have been collecting old magazines for many years now, and I keep them in pristine condition with help from a series of book cloth binders that I bought many years ago in an antique shop. I love the way my collection looks on the shelves of my converted spare room, and I take great comfort from the fact that they are likely to last for many decades thanks to the protection I have given them. Some of my magazines date back to the 1920s, so they can be a little delicate to handle.

I recently looked online at leather binders, because I will need to invest in some soon as my collection expands, and I was pleased to see such a wide variety of options which are available. It seems they are available in just about any colour of the rainbow, and in a variety of sizes as well. There was a time when the consumer would have had to search high and low for these items, but the ready availability and the wide reach of the worldwide web has made the whole process so much simpler. It seems legal binders are just a click away now.
I like to use my branded Oyster Card wallets to hold my travel documents when I go racing. I’ve visited racecourses all over the UK but I’m still no better at gambling that I was!
So what do you plan to do with your old polypropylene bespoke binders?
When I was at college way back when, I was given a great many stationery items in order to complete my course work, and that included a couple of very elegant record of achievement folders which proved to be extremely useful. Most college students now probably send their completed assignments to their tutors electronically, but I still hanker for the days when we could hold a piece of work in our hands and read it without having to worry about straining our eyes against the bright light of a computer screen.

I have held on to all of my old stationery items, but that’s mainly because I have always loved such pieces. I enjoy the feel of them in my hands, I like the look of them when they’re stacked on shelves and I also just like to know they are still being used. Even a couple of branded Oyster Card wallets that I was given as corporate gifts prove useful on the rare occasions that I travel up to London for a day of sightseeing. There’s nothing more pleasing than knowing old items are still being put to good use.
The sheer beauty of a shelf packed with branded polypropylene binders tells me that I hope we never have completely paperless office environments
Keeping every detail of every match in my printed ring binders
Everyone has their own uses for branded polypropylene binders these days, but for me they are used to house a mine of information about the England cricket team. I have always been a keen statistician about the game, in fact I was the official scorer for my local club for more than twenty years, but when it comes to the England team I have become even more obsessive. When I look at my collection of information, I’m immediately struck by how glad I am that I bought several paper over board bespoke binders a few years ago.

I now have hand-written details of every game England have played in the past thirty years, including every player to have worn the three lions, their batting, bowling and fielding stats and of course the result of every single match. These details include test matches, one-day internationals and the increasingly popular T20 games. If you ask me a question about any of these games, I may not know the immediate answer but I will certainly know where to find it. As the old saying goes, I don’t like cricket – I love it!
Throwing away my beloved collection of printed PVC binders is proving way more difficult than I thought it would be
